It is hard to commit to stretching, but now there is a way for me to avoid it! Since I've been wearing them for about 6 years now, I wore them every day I was 7 years old when I got married. There were quite a few complaints about these being too thick and one person claiming they are gauges, so I was really nervous to order them. It's so great that I took a chance, because I hate sleeping with my studs, as they poke my neck, etc. and they are As soon as I saw these with flat backs, I thought I'd put them to the test. In general these are pretty comfortable to sleep in, there is no digging in etc. I did have to give them a good push to get them in as my foot holes are fairly small (I do not wear them often so they close frequently) but they worked just fine after a good push. According to my opinion, if you want to fool people into thinking that you have gauges, these will do nothing. In essence, they look like gauges, but they are thick and they stand up too far from the lobes to be seen as It is easy to achieve that look if the earrings were flush with the skin and applied pressure to the ear lobe, but these are not going to succeed. In addition, if you don't have thick lobes on your ears, these look even further away from looking like gauges.

These earrings were bought six years ago after I had not worn earrings for a very long time. After I had them in and my lobes got used to them, I never went back to wearing any other type of earring again. The screw is removed occasionally to clean them and my lobes thoroughly, but for the most part, they have remained in for six years with no allergic reaction or loss of the screw. I was worried about buying the ropes because I read reviews which said they come unspooled and people lose the backs, but I haven't had any issues with mine. You may want to check these out. Therefore, the post portion of the earrings is larger than the hole of my ears. It did take a little wiggling to get the post to go I did not feel any pain, it was just awkward (and I was afraid it would hurt so I was playing around for a while). I then had my husband help me screw the back of the first one on once it got through. There was no problem with it for him. In the second case, I screwed the back myself - I thought it would be a challenge, but it ended up being quite easy. The ones pictured are the 10mm in size. I slept with them on last night, and they didn't hurt. They look great, if I may say so myself! Their strength makes them a good choice. 80. It was tough getting them through my newer earlobe piercing, but they were comfortable to wear. One of the real problems with them is that the backs are so slippery and tiny that I dropped one immediately I've tried to find a strong magnet using a flashlight and a strong magnet, but I didn't succeed. As a result, I can't wear both pairs at the same time, which defeats the purpose. It would be nice if we could get a few extras.
