I usually wear hoka shoes at work, and that's how I ended up purchasing them. Since the price was so low, I decided to take advantage of it. The concrete is too cold for me to stand on for 8 hours Every day for 12 hours, 5 times a week The days I work at my job are six a week. In my experience, these shoes wear pretty well for an 8 hour work day, however, any longer and I begin to feel my feet aching. I frequently have to retighten the laces throughout the day in order to keep a snug fit. The hokas didn't require me to do that, but that could just be a misunderstanding on my part. While I have not run in these, I cannot comment on how they would compare to hokas and how they would compare on the run. I will still return to hokas after 8 hours of work as the laces need to be tied again and they do not feel comfortable after 8 hours. My overall preference will be to keep these for my regular outside of work shoes, since I feel they are more suited to daily wear. Having had them for three weeks now, my experience has been good, wearing them every day in both outdoor and office environments. Mostly because the laces needed to be retightened, I can only give this 4 stars. I think that gets a little irritating over time. All in all, I would recommend this shoe, it is very good for its.
