Yes, the insole can be removed. It's a fantastic shoe, and I adore it, but if you're in doubt, go for the larger size; they run a little small.
They're quite large.

These were my first pair of NB Freeze cleats, and I can't tell you how much I enjoy wearing them while competing in paintball. These cleats GRIP whether it's raining or not. They are extremely stable for the foot and ankle, so hard cuts and rapid acceleration are not a problem. br>br>After five rough uses, I have not experienced any abnormal wear or seams breaking in. They appear to be a winning combination!.
For ultimate frisbee, I purchased these. Nike Force Savage Shark football cleats in size 7 are the other pair I own. The Force Savage series is designed with linemen in mind. They're extra tough, cushioned, and comfortable to wear with ankle braces. The size of these New Balance Freeze cleats is 7. The size 7 is the same length as the size 6, but the toe box is a little narrower. The cleats are solidly punched into the dirt like no other, even on dry sandy turf, and I can definitely feel the extra speed and make quicker cuts with these NB. They're a little tighter, a little harder to get in and out of, and a little harder to lace up than the Nikes, but they're not too uncomfortable, even with ankle braces. Because it covers the entire ankle, the Nike provides better ankle protection. Because the NB are shorter, the ankle can turn more freely. Overall, the Nike is more comfortable, and the New Balance is superior in terms of performance. I also tried on a pair of Nike Alpha Huaraches in size 7. They're too tight around the arch to be comfortable. I would have ordered a 7 if I had known what I was getting myself into. 5. My toes may have had too much room in front, preventing me from wearing football or lacrosse shoes with front toe cleats.
The NB Freeze V2s were quickly breaking down. The new V3s appear to be much better and have held up well after a season of use. It's worth the extra money to upgrade to the newer version.
for cleats used in tournaments br>Extremely comfortable and no break-in period; I also have a wide foot. br>It works well on both artificial turf and natural grass.
I participate in gaelic hurling (a sport that is similar to football). if you're interested in playing lacrosse). After the sole on my soccer boots blew out halfway through the season, I bought these boots, and they did everything they were supposed to do. Even though it was only four games, the ankle support was excellent, the grip was excellent in wet conditions, and the hold was still strong. They'll be fine, I'm sure.
These cleats, according to my son, have a good fit and traction. After two weeks of practice and two games, he tore the reinforced eyelet at the top of the shoe. He's rethreading to use different holes and we'll see how long they last; I'm hoping for more from New Balance in terms of durability.
Nike is my favorite brand, but their shoes are far too narrow for my duck feet. These cleats are extremely comfortable while still allowing you to perform dynamic cuts and agility without risking breaking your ankles. I would strongly suggest it.
These are a hit with my 9-year-old son, who plays lacrosse. They are comfortable and well-fitting, according to him. His feet are also free of problems and pain.
