It was a good decision to splurge on it now. We are very pleased with the design. The design is fantastic. Despite the fact that they fit great, the breathability claims mentioned are complete However, I feel that wear and tear have diminished its effectiveness Tears may have something to do with it. As time goes on, I hope these shoes will get more breathable. NOW, this is what I cannot tolerate about these shoes they are ugly. Some people may see it as a minor matter. The shoe is no longer wide because they shaved it down. It hurts after just a few hours of wearing them in my right side. ended up measuring my older DC shoes, the ones that have the court graphics, and comparing them with As it turns out, these shoes are three sizes smaller than I thought they would be When you measure the sole on the bottom, it is 1/8 inch wide. Graphics are displayed on the court in three dimensions One-fourth of an inch wide. When you talk about your feet, there is a big difference. Because of the many years of skating I have for over my entire life, I have no idea why the shoe would be so small and why it would have a completely different pattern. Having more surface area at the bottom of your feet makes you hold the board better! You want more service area! There is something about this pair of skateboard shoes that gives me the feeling they have been manufactured entirely for people with little feet, or not designed with skateboarding in mind. I think people's feet have gotten smaller or DC has chosen to just stick with the designs instead of giving skateboarders the functionality they need. The bottoms of your feet have less surface area, so their grip is reduced! You've got to be kidding. Even after giving them all those things, I still gave them four stars since I love the brand! As far as DC shoes go, they're no longer made by the company. The size is out of whack. Two different types of DC shoes were tried out. There were two models, one from Amazon and one from DC's website. Both were way too Put a better quality control system in place and stop making your product in China. DC shoes are no longer available. My plan is to go to Vans.
The value is excellent. It should feel like you are wearing solid shoes instead of cloth The size is true to size and the comfort level is moderate. Despite the fact that the shoes feel comfortable right away from new, the ergonomics of the shoes makes them comfortable for everyday activities and skating as well. In addition, there is still a slim profile for skating in this shoe, so it gives the feeling of a bulky shoe without being bulky. This skate has a durable bottom rubber that seems to be grippy and durable enough not to get holes in it for a reasonable amount of time. One minor complaint I have is the seemingly pointless poofy tongue on top of the shoe. Not a big deal, but it does interfere with the laces if not adjusted, so it will push forward if not. I would recommend the shoe to anyone seeking a quality shoe at a reasonable price. Please note that I'll edit it in the future - In my experience after skating these for awhile, I agree with the other reviewer mentioning how slim these are at As a result of this narrow bottom, skating has been problematic since there is less of a platform which equals less grip for some tricks as well as ankle rolls are more likely with the narrower heel.
This is the first pair of DCs my husband has worn and he is very happy with them. The quality of the product is excellent.
They are great for everyday walking and comfort. It only took a few days for them to break in, and they are great. They can be worn as a slip on, and they never slip off. I like them, they fit true to size. I highly recommend.
As far as I can tell, they hold up well. Soft and cushioned on the inside, these don't get too hot either, and they don't get my feet too hot. As well as looking great, they are highly functional.
Price listed on the website is half the original.
really like them, they don't have a wide fit to them they are just not good for wide feet, but if you're looking for one this is not the shoe for you.
