The result would be skate shoes that would not last long. It was a surprise to me how comfortable these were. I am amazed. The shoes are very nice. I usually wear a size 13, but I went one half size up due to reviews stating that these It is snug, but even with my usual size 13, I think I could have managed. This was bought for my boyfriend. He likes them while walking on smooth surfaces, except when they get wet, they make a suction "pop" sound when they stick to the ground. The fit is excellent and the garment is very comfortable. It would have been nice if they added more suction when the angle is 90 degrees.
My order was for the black version only. This photograph appears as if there is a slight tint of blue on the shoe, which is not at all the case. It is dark and blacked out in these shoes. I'd rate the fit as true to size, but the middle to front of the shoe is narrow and tight. I think they need broken in because they need broken out. It feels good in the foot, but I think it would benefit from higher density inserts like the jell or the foam. Nevertheless, I know my feet will hurt if I stand in these for hours without a foam insert such as Dr. Scholl's. It's something to think about. It's hard to say, but I may purchase a second pair in another color, since they're really nice, casual-friendly shoes. I see a hint of Vans or Nike skate shoes in this design. This is a 4 out of 5 star rating. The shoes could be improved if in the future they add comfortable shoe inserts along with this style.

As far as looks are concerned, these shoes are pretty nice, but they are not very comfortable for extended walking. I had been wearing Adidas before and this pair is not at all comfortable for extended walking. As I was driving to my destination, I stopped and bought some gel insoles because they were so painful on the soles of my feet. It's a good thing I got them half a size bigger so that the insoles could fit. I had to buy some special cushion pads to protect my heels from rubbing on my achilles due to the back of the shoe. To determine how well it works, I am giving them a few more days to wear. In case they do not feel better soon, I will be returning them.
