Having purchased these spikes for my son for the second time, I find that they are a great option for him. He runs the 100, 200, 400, 300 hurdles and does pole vaulting, so he needs a versatile spike, and these are perfect for that. A small amount of heel padding is provided for jumping events, but not so much that it impedes sprinting. This is definitely something I would recommend.
I am purchasing this pair of shoes for my 12-year-old daughter to use in her track events. My daughter will compete in mainly mid distance races, such as 600 and 800 meters. A durable and lightweight shoe that meets the weight and comfort demands as well as cushioning from impacts with the court. It offers a high level of performance at a reasonable cost, and with a quality that is superior to those of higher priced competitors. I would like to see a transport bag included, one that would be very useful to include a transport bag along with the nails and installation key.
