I found them to be small. A size 7 USA is actually a size 39, not 39 as it says on this size chart. It has a different size chart than the one on the box.
Buying these recently, I got the US size 8 and it states it is a women's model and they fit perfectly. Also, they are superb shoes my feet don't slid off the pedal in the least.

They will go with my new flat pedals with pins that I bought. I plan on wearing these shoes more on my daily commute as the weather cools off as they grip the pins well and the soles are thick so they don't cause any discomfort. I currently wear Vans on my daily commute (preparing to replace them). You should not wear them indoors as the heel marks the floor (I was able to remove the marks easily). Thanks for your purchase! I am very pleased. A brief update This pair of shoes has been in my possession for over a year now and they are just great. The pants are warm (when worn with the right socks, of course) but aren't too stuffy so you can wear them in the summer as well. There is nothing I would like to complain about. I'm very pleased with how well they're holding up!.
You can do road cycling at any level! My cycling capabilities place me in the intermediate category, which means I'm not suitable for clip-ins Since cycling isn't my principal activity, I can't devote myself solely to it. My goal was to find something that would keep my feet from hurting after 15 minutes of walking Bike rides on rural roads and bike paths of 30 miles each. They are a very comfortable shoe for a ride. I have a narrow foot and they are a little bit wide, but once I tightened them they weren't uncomfortable at all. When I put on the laced shoes and got on the bike, there were no issues with usage (so they might be a good fit). It appears that they are well made and should last at least the next five years if not further! I have a boyfriend who has the men's version and he loves them, how they fit and how they perform.
Despite being great shoes for MTB, I found them to be 1/2 size smaller than I would have liked.

The size I got is for women's feet, so it's not worth it if you have a low volume foot. It's also quite expensive.
You could wear them if you used the amazon size chart for the UK, but they are bad shoes that do not hold onto the pedals well.
