You can't go wrong with these shoes! My favorite thing about them is that they remind me of a pair of vans I have. They're also quite comfortable. As a size 11 in men's, I should have ordered a size 10 1/2. Because of the extra room, I almost tripped on a couple of occasions, but the extra room is bearable once you get used to it. After a game of wearing them, I bowled a score of 149 (which is pretty good for me), so I think these shoes are really great!.
I know right who stepped in it, but who else? It was time to replace them (were three years old anyway), and these work better than the previous pair. This is the kind of slide I prefer, since I'm not a big fan of big slides. My slides are smooth and short. I'm sure powder can make them even better, but right out of the box they are great. These are really comfortable, and yes, I almost walked out of the store These shoes don't feel like bowling shoes, but rather like a dress shoe you might wear with jeans or a tee shirt when you're out and about. The storm product is great as always!.
I have used the bottom sole twice already and I can see the bottom sole rubbing off. There are also some instances where the "Storm" blue print logo inside the shoe has already come off. Considering that I have only used the shoes TWO times, I am pretty disappointed with them. It would have been better if the shoe had been made better, something that would have lasted for years.
The same as wearing slick sneakers. Once broken in, you will enjoy wearing them. We had to play a few games and use powder before they slid Nevertheless, they need the same amount of breaking in as any new item. The order was made one size smaller. If you wear a bowling alley rental shoe and that is the size you wear, order that size. Both shoes.
The shoes are attractive and seem to be well constructed. It seems like maybe I haven't broken them in yet, because I have worn them for eight trips to the bowling alley. Ebonite Ultra Slide Powder doesn't seem to have much of an effect on them even without being used. was careful to only use the powder a few times at the beginning. Since I am a medium tier skill bowler, this review can be taken for what it is.
There is no way these can separate from the top like the cheap dexter shoes I bought and wore them for a year and a half. I've had them for close to a year and they are still in great shape. Despite the fact that the soles are attached much better to canvas than to the cheap vinyl ones, these are still comfy, no matter how you wear them.
Bowling shoes are so tacky now days. I like the look of these shoes and they are a great deal for the price. are great, but they slide a bit less than a pair of These shoes stop perfectly in time, and the heels are really grippable. I haven't fouled a bit in them. The shoes are good, but they pinch the side of my heel after the first couple of games. I plan to swap soles in the near future, so no big deal.
This is the kind of thing I really like. It takes a little while for some Ultra-sticks to stick but some don't There is an easy way to do that with Slide. The first ball required more than I could handle, but now I'm using it only on the first. The compliments are coming in thick and fast. The size of the shoe I wear is It would be great if I could find number 5 but I can't find it, so I'm using The shoes are fine, but I probably would have gotten a size 10 had I had the option.
