After 8 months, there are still a lot of holes. It would have been nice if I listened to more reviews, since these socks did not last nearly as long as I hoped. It is very comfortable to wear, but they tend to leak a lot. It has been nine months since) and only have about five days left to donate It is left to pair 6 pairs. In the end I returned to gold toe socks after I had tried a number of other brands. It's a shame that they no longer maintain a high-quality brand assumed the stitching and cushioning was of high quality before putting on one pair, but after wearing one for about an hour (mostly sitting), I noticed a hole in one of the socks while sitting with my legs crossed. There is good news and bad news regarding the Big and Tall set. The size 14 feet on my feet fit like the smaller normal size. The shoes are on the lower range of the sizing, but they still fit badly. With the upper cm folded down on the outside, I have been wearing them . . . and they're fine just like that, but genuinely, I'd expect better from Gold Toe, which I've always found to be fully satisfactory in their other lines of socks I've bought. Even though I still like gold toe in general, assuming I received a faulty item, I will never purchase this product again.

At $5 for a dozen pairs of socks, I expected to receive decent quality for the price I paid. Instead, I got socks that you can get at the local flea market at the price I paid. This 'Big and Tall' size 12-inch quarter sock is designed for tall people wearing tall shoes I have a foot size 13 and I am just able to wear it. I can see them pulling thin already at all of the seams when I put them on. There was a point when I could see my flesh in between the threads at the heel cup as well as the toe seam. that these will last very long, but since I don't often wear shoes or sneakers this way, I'm going to leave them and switch to another brand when these eventually fall apart.
[Update] Wore My second time wearing these socks one of the socks caught fire at the shaft of the ribbed portion. Despite what I said, I thought I would use each sock more than once even though I expected them to fall apart. Amazon has provided me with a refund for the socks within 12 hours of contacting their customer service. That's the only good news in this situation. These socks should not be worn.
