There was still the same problem after I tried several different brands of hiking socks. It was very difficult for me to pay over $20 for one pair of socks, but my husband convinced me to try them. I put these on the day after I received them and hiked over 4 miles on a very difficult trail without even feeling any pain or hot spots. Seeing how they perform on longer trails is what I'm most looking forward to!

They seem like good socks, but be sure to order a size up as well. As they are so tight, I am only able to wear them for a half-day before they begin to hurt and limit my mobility. Again, this message is important They're good, if I knew to order a size bigger I would have ordered them.

The size of my shoe is 10. A total of five pairs of Large were ordered, per their sizing chart, which indicated that size 12 was Large. The first time I used them, they were a bit tight, but I was hoping they would stretch out to fit me. Not so. The first three or four times I wash them, they are barely able to be put on. The setting I use for my dryer is Delicate (lowest temperature). Even trying to get into one of the styles I purchased is no longer an option. I can stretch almost enough to get on the other one for now, but I expect that too will lose its utility in the next few washes. It's a total waste of $100+. A manufacturer's warranty applies only to wear and tear, not shrinkage or a bad sizing chart.

Usually it is not so important, but this time around I bought these because of their excellent reviews. As far as the socks are concerned, they are decent, but there is only one pair for $20, which is insufficient. There must be good reason to mention this, but damn if I wasn't surprised and disappointed not reading It is ultimately my fault and they are nice socks, but even with great socks, $20 a pair just doesn't seem worth it.

The sweat gets too much for indoor work, but the vest is perfect for winter wear. Then I tried the ones below, and they are great for indoors. My feet don't sweat as much and they wick away I agree!
