Compared to the tie pictured in the product description, the one pictured here is much less vibrant. There's something a little bit old-fashioned and drab about it, like the print off of granny's drapes rather than a tie my boyfriend can wear to my semiformal and still be a hit.

I am reminded of the 70s when looking at this tie. There are very muted colors in it, kind of like rust, darker tea rose, dark yellow, and navy as a background. Clearly it is the right tie, but the colors are not bright. The label reads "Mardi," which is the name of the tie. The outfit I bought for my son was supposed to add color to his wardrobe, but I have to return it. This was not at all what we were expecting. Nice tie. I like it a lot. I got it for a styled photo shoot that I did with my husband. I found it to be perfect. Initially the tie was sent in the wrong color by Amazon. In lieu of returning the wrong book, Dazi told me they would just send the correct book. It could have been a major issue since I told them that we needed it by the following Monday, and we only got it on Tuesday.
