Being an in-betweens woman in the kitchen, I have to manage a large kitchen with many cooks. My pants have no belts, so I rather than go and have them all altered with them I ended up with a few of these. This is the first time I've ever worn suspenders, but I must say, they do look amazing. They are always bulky and uncomfortable to wear. It is not unusual to hear belts that are not large fall apart a month into the new season. With these on my jeans, I won't even notice when my leg gets messed up because they are made to last a year. I find that they hide more easily under my chef jackets than a belt. There is no problem.
Update: My rating must be changed after a month. A little time after I bought three of them, the first car broke. There is only one that is snapping off, and that works fine in the others. In this case, it will place a great deal of stress on my back as well. As I was falling down, it hit me in the head. It is very painful to do this. They work just fine else.
To help keep the pants on during deliveries, I wear these pants while carrying my uniform shirt under my uniform. I am a big girl and wearing these under my uniform shirt helps. The pairs I bought now are generally hit or miss, as I've gone through 6. A couple of times I wore them, one was broken, another was worn for more than a week. Two pairs last for over 5 months; three pairs stayed almost three months. Usually, the metal clip connecting the pants to the bone is the one that breaks. You will never find a pair of socks that are not in this package. Not all pairs lasted a while, and they didn't stand out all that well. An excessively stretched or crowded strap makes it impossible to use. This item does not pose any concern for me because I wear it under my shirt; though it looks shabby if you wear it outside. However, for the value it provides and the way I use it, this item provides a good investment. Look elsewhere if you are looking for a fashion item.

There shouldn't be any problems with these suspenders. Those clips are only small on the inside. . . The system is working properly. My favorite leggings required to be lined. Those workers are doing exactly what I ordered them to do. They are not worn as ornaments, but as clothing under my shirt.
