Questions & Answers

What is the best way for me to determine which size I require?

"There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution." " I'm looking at these 6'4" men who are in good shape. Also suitable for men weighing up to 380 pounds.

What is the overall length of this product? I'm a man under 5' and I'm looking for a shorter length with the adjuster resting on my shoulders. ouch- on a length of 46" ?

The total length is 52 inches. The straps are elastic, so it should be able to fit around you, but it depends on how long your shoulders to waist are, as everyone is different in size.

Will these fit a man who is 6'4" tall?

Yes, I bought them for a 6'2" man, so they should fit.

What is the best way for me to get in touch with the vendor?

It's appropriate for both casual and professional settings
5/5

During the week, I work in a construction supply store, and on weekends, I work in a retail store. Suspenders are a must for me because my butt is about 1/4 the size of my belly, so there are no pants that stay up with just a belt if I have anything in my pockets and/or on my hips, so I don't have to keep one hand on my pants the entire day. br>I already wear industrial suspenders by Carhart and others for my full-time job, but I have "dressy" types that I kept trying out because the clasps don't always stay clipped during heavy lifting or squeezing into tight spaces, and they rub against boxes, walls, and other things, so I gave these a try. br>Because they're black, they're not blingy, even though they're 2" wide, and the clasps stay clipped no matter what I bang them against; the chrome clasps and height adjusters aren't as showy as dressy type because they're not huge. They adjust easily up or down as needed, and they stay clipped until I unclip them, as I previously stated. br>Because the elastic is stiffer than cheap elastic, once adjusted, it stays pretty much in place. No, if you have a lot of stuff on your hips and in your pocket, your pants will ride down, as will many "under $10" ones. When you're weighed down, it will put more stress on your shoulders, just like the cheaper ones, but your pants will stay put. I carry a radio, hand computer, tape measure, battery powered drill, cell phone, and box cutter on my hips, as well as keys and other items in my pockets, so I'm frequently carrying more than a few pounds. br>The stitching is excellent, and the assembly was flawless. It was a toss-up between these and Dickies, but since I already had a pair in neon green (with reflective) for work, I figured they'd be just as durable and well-made. br>I sweat a lot, but the brown from the leather patch hasn't bled through to my work shirts yet. br>I believe they are well worth the money I spent on them.

I don't think I'd buy them because of this
3/5

I ordered these on the 5th of September and received them on the 7th of September. I wore them to work the next day. And, to tell you the truth, they were extremely cozy. At one point, I forgot I had them on. They were fantastic for the next two weeks, until one of the clips unclipped on Monday, September 14th, which was no big deal. Except the clip disintegrated completely, and I misplaced the majority of it. As a result, they are now useless, and I expect better quality from Carhartt, especially since the Carhartt belt I purchased yesterday came apart, rendering it useless.

Suspenders are fantastic
5/5

I admire businesses that take care of their customers. After about 2 1/2 years of use, one of the four clips remained in the open position, which disappointed me. So I dialed Carharrt Yjey's number and requested a photograph, which I sent. They sent me brand-new suspenders in the mail. That's what I call customer service, in contrast to Hugo Boss' refusal to stand behind their product because I purchased it on Amazon.

Carhartt was supposed to make clothes for "real" men, right? That isn't the case, I guess
3/5

Grrr. Let's just say I have a body type that necessitates the use of suspenders from time to time. Okay, so I've never worn suspenders before, but I'm tired of tightening my belt only to have my pants fall off all the time if I have weight/tools in my pockets and plan on moving around all day. So, after some research and familiarity with the Carhartt brand, I decided to purchase these suspenders. I wanted something with study clips that was 2" wide and the largest/longest size available. I'm 6'4 and have a long torso, so finding shirts, jackets, bibs, and other clothing that fits properly is a challenge for me. I'm not the leanest man on the planet, but neither am I the heaviest. Carhartt is a company that purports to make clothing for the working man in America. Let me tell you, I'm big, but I'm not "huge" for a "working man," and these suspenders barely fit me when I'm just wearing a t-shirt. These would not fit if I tried to add a few layers or gain a few pounds first. Come on, how can you not offer a larger size or simply make them a couple of inches longer? My three-star rating is based on two factors, I believe. The claps are easy to come undone, so it loses a star at first. There's nothing to be concerned about. But the fact that it doesn't fit the "American Working Man" irritates me. I guess Carhartt was too busy marketing themselves to the modern lumbersexual to remember to make clothes for the working men who put their brand on the map in the first place. br>br>I'm going to try some from Duluth Trading Post and see if their large size fits better with both of these drawbacks.

The "leather's" outer surface wore away TWICE, and the clip came loose
3/5

The first pair of suspenders had to be returned because the leather's outer covering had worn away after a few days. The replacement has done the same thing, but it will be kept because it is on the underside. They come unsnapped in the back as well, but they still hold pants up better than a belt, which was the main reason for the purchase. br>br>After a few weeks, one of the clips has fallen off. As a result, I reduced my rating to one star. This video is of poor quality. br>I would not recommend this product to anyone. And then there was the return.
