I tried. If you're wondering if you'll suffocate wearing it, the answer is no. No, that's also not the case.
You can get a ten pack for $10 from the outdoor research website.
It's difficult to come across them. I'm now just using the cloth filter on its own, or with a second clinic (blue) filter underneath, as Dr. Fauci recommends.
Because the mask is so big, there's a lot of extra fabric that flexes with the airflow. The mask's fabric will flex less if you use the paper insert filter that comes with it.

After shrinkage, it's almost unwearable. Cons: When dried, the shrinkage is significant. At twenty dollars a pop, I expected a lot more. Very let down. If you use the included filters, you can add a third layer to your image. Advantages: br>br> Exceptionally breathable, with a good nosewire and easily adjustable ears. Overall, the shrinkage has made me unhappy. The mask is now far too tight for an average adult's face, making it practically unwearable. What a waste of $20.
I'm not sure who the genius is who designed how the filter fits into this, but I hope it's their only design effort because the filter is a pain to use. The filter bunched up and was sticking out the side of the mask as I walked into my building this morning, trying to put it on with one hand after the temperature scanner checked me. I had to come to a halt and lay down my belongings so that I could fix it. br>br>Unfortunately, if I can't figure out how to keep the filter in place, I may have to return it, as the mask is very comfortable. However, I purchased it for both comfort and security.
00 for a Shrinkable Mask! $20 is a waste of money. One mask and two liners are included in the three-pack. The mask cannot be dried in the dryer because it SHRINKS (so much for high heat killing Covid- 19). This is something I would never buy again. I'm angry because I've been taken advantage of!.
I hardly ever have to fiddle with it or adjust it. It's a little warm, but that's to be expected from a mask that does its job. (If it's light and breathable, it's probably not doing its job. ) ) Despite being thick and up to par, it is still quite breathable and doesn't sound too muffled. That's a big deal for me as a teacher, because trying to be heard AND understood while wearing a mask is difficult and exhausting. This mask, on the other hand, allows me to project without having to yell the entire day. Many people complained about how difficult it was to insert the filter in their reviews. I struggled at first, but eventually realized it wasn't the filter that was causing my problems, but rather my attempts to put it in incorrectly. P It was a piece of cake once I figured out my mistake, and the filter fits perfectly. br>As a glasses-wearing person, I'm used to wearing glasses. As a mask-wearing gal, fogging has been a major issue with other masks I've tried, but due to its excellent fit, I have little to no fogging with this mask. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase and would consider purchasing more colors in the future. especially if they released more vibrant color options. )br>Awaiting the end of the pandemic! <3.
I read a lot of reviews that said this was a great mask for athletes (I was looking for a running and cycling mask), but it's quite expensive. br>br>The mask includes adjustable ear loops, a metal (I believe) nose piece, and optional filter inserts (your mask will come with three). The paper (I assume) filters give the mask a rigidity that keeps it from collapsing and plugging your nostrils while keeping it away from your mouth. In other words, the stiffness and space allow you to take deep breaths that feel like full ones. I've made a "replacement filter" out of a coffee filter, which isn't recommended. I like how stiff it is, but when it gets wet, it stays wet and collapses around your nose. br>br>I've taken it shopping, for a walk, and for a 31-mile bike ride. I still prefer the comfort of a 2x folded neck gaiter when running. In passing, I can easily pull the gaiter up. br>br>I've seen prices fluctuate, so keep an eye on Amazon to see if you can find a good deal.
This kit consists of a $2 polyester face mask and three $5 coffee filters, all of which are sold together for $20. This kit is not something I would recommend because it will not protect you or anyone else from harm. The paper filters will crumple and move around when you turn your head or speak because of the way they fold. This is not a protective mask, and after a few minutes of wearing it, the paper will be all skewed to one side.
It's just right. Washable, breathable, and comfortable. It does seem a little tighter after a spin in the dryer, but I have a smaller face/head, so that's not an issue for me. Because I am active duty, I am required to wear a mask while in uniform at all times, and I was willing to pay a little more for a better mask. I'm glad I did; if you're thinking about upgrading your mask, this is the one to go with.
Very comfortable, but filters (one-stop shop) are required. We use other face masks because the ones designed to fit the masks aren't available for purchase. "When in crowded areas, the essential mask Filter is designed to be worn with the essential face mask for high filtration efficiency and contamination reduction. " " When I contacted OR, they advised me to use different filters.
