Argon & Flame Resistant for Life - This number 5 has an arc resistance rating of The material weight is 2 oz and is a soft, inherent mixture of Modacrylic, Cotton, No matter how many times they are washed or worn, they will remain arc and flame retardant. NFPA 70E compliant neck gaiters, HRC / CAT 1, EBT = 6, these neck gaiters are designed to protect the face during a fire or shock. The sheet meets ASTM F1506 requirements with a weight of 4 cal/sq-cm. In the event of an arc flash or flash fire, it is important not to add fuel to the fire. FR neck gaiters feature an asymmetrical, stretchable rib panel, so no matter what size head you have, these will fit.

What is the thickness of the layers of material?

A single layer is present.

Do I have trouble keeping welding fumes out of my nose with it?

I guess that would be about as good as a bandana

Is it effective when it comes to filtering dust particles from sheet rock, grinding, sanding, etc.?

To prevent your respiratory system from being damaged, I would get a good dust filter. A flash fire is what this is supposed to protect you from.

Comparatively to thin neck gaiters made of nylon that are intended for kayaking, how breathable is this product?

I would rate this as an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the size of a nylon neck gaiter. In the event that you will be working in an area where nylon can melt, the Benchmark FR neck gaiter is the best choice. I am a welder and my gaiter has proven to be reliable over time.

The Naval Aviation industry finds it useful

These have proven to be very effective on aircraft carriers so far. The engine of the F/A-18 dispels heat very well, and is not subject to requiring cleaning until a lot of use has been made of it As well as being able to pass through the Jetblast almost with ease, I was also trying to be knocked off my feet by the 18 Super Hornet. However, I have not yet had the opportunity to test it's FR capabilities on the flight deck (hopefully I won't have to) but as soon as I do, I will update this review. This is my fourth purchase of these facemasks, and I couldn't be more pleased with the product. Benchmark, thanks for your help!.

This product helps keep your beard healthy

To date, this device seems to be holding up well. Whenever I see rouge sparks or slag, I use them to protect my beard. Although I had my shield down today, a tiny piece of metal stuck to my forehead just above my glasses just in the middle. Fortunately, my beard did not suffer any damage. I just wanted to update you It was the 15th of August when I received my first one. It was used near daily for over a year and looks like this. Once a week, you should wash your clothes. The one on the right was delivered to me on Aug 7, 2020 (photo taken after one wash). There are only a few differences to note. As a matter of fact, I prefer the older style of sewing on the I only use it so I can locate the front of the camera while I have it on.

This is a light and sturdy bag

I bought this for work, it's really good Work on the trees along the I have found it to be a great experience. Over the past couple weeks, I've been wearing it almost every day. My nose fits nicely around the device. It's not too tight, but it doesn't slide down and bounce around like some other items. My mouth is not filled with dust anymore because of it. In the neck area, the skin is looser & more pliable The phone does not get caught up when I move, and it is not restrictive Turned upside down. The belt is designed to be comfortable to wear right out of the box and includes an elastic waistband Besides stitching, the PPE is not affected by the stitching. When compared to other PPE face products I've used, this one is the best. Our crew will be ordering more of this after I test it out. I was the tester for this. This is a great shirt to wear a couple times per week for most of the day. It is made from a good fabric. Considering way elasticity, the fit of the scarf is far better than that of a bandana. There has not been any stretching from me. As I wear the mask, the fit is snug, not tight or restrictive, around my nose. However, as it approaches my neck, the fit softens (gets looser). As soon as I put the goggles on, I notice it, but it doesn't impede my vision. When I wear it, I have no problem breathing. Every other day I wash mine or whenever I have a chance to do so, which sometimes involves dipping it in a bucket of water, and nearly every day I wash it in the shower. The tension has not been loosened. Although the graphics on the front are outdated, they still look good. A sap stain and a grease stain have been left on it There may be chainsaw oil on the graphics, but the graphics seem to be holding up fine.

This is a great product manufactured by a great company, and the skull design is utterly evil. When they ask for recommendations, I can always recommend Benchmark FR products safely and confidently They are employees. Great gator! I am really happy with it. After working as an electrician and then as a welder, I am pretty used to the sparks, spatter, and bright lights associated with the welding process. Today is not the day! I also didn't smell any burning in my beard! I have to say that this is a seriously great product and I will definitely be buying more from these guys!.

Taking a look at this is not going to make you happy. That is not to say that I don't. Having to deal with Recon rags, as I call them, is becoming more and more difficult. Since I was an adult I have always worn Recon rags, tube rags, or kneck gators. I am 41 years old. My favorite cover for my bald head, and I frequently get cold head with them on. I wore them in the military, the private sector, and in daily use. Furthermore, it is also dangerous to overheat. If you'll call it that, this Gator is one of the best. Although I wear it on my head in reverse, it had a slick design. Hopefully I'll have some pictures at the end of the week. is heavy, the fit is tight, and the overall appearance is This is a topic that is hard to discuss. If, that is what this is intended to do when it comes to fire retardancy, I have no idea what this material can do. It is a TAC tool, and I use it to look at things. As I use a Ghost Grey color scheme, these are excellent. I will get more, and I know my team members will, as well.
