Not sure. On none of the tags did I notice a country of origin designation. I did some research and discovered that Shepherd's Land is a Lona Scott brand, and that while some of their products are clearly made in Scotland, this scarf may or may not be made in the UK. or possibly somewhere else. The quality appears to be comparable to scarves we've seen in the past. I'm pleased with mine because it was purchased in Scotland.

We've brought scarves back from Scotland and Ireland, and this one is of the same high quality and feel. In Edinburgh, there are a variety of scarves available. Soft, refined lambswool doesn't require a lot of bulk to keep you warm, which is exactly what you'll get here. br>br>The Lindsay plaid has a lot of color, and this one measures 11x62 (plus a few inches of fringe on both ends). The duration is standard (60-90 minutes). This style scarf has a length of 63 inches. I've been around for a while now. 70- 72 inches in length. If you want one like that, look for it in that size. All in all, done, it appears to be a good value if it holds up as well as our other Scottish and Irish scarves.
My cat has a thing for a lovely Buchanan tartan wool blanket that I brought back from Scotland, so in an attempt to reclaim my lovely but pricey blanket, I bought this much less expensive but equally lovely scarf for his new cat bed. The scarf is a lighter weight but still has a nice feel to it. If it were thicker, it would be oppressively hot! The colors are bright and appealing. I'd happily wear it myself if it hadn't been made for my cat.
I bought two of these lovely scarves as gifts for the holidays. They're toasty, well-made, and absolutely stunning. I've been to Scotland, and these are the genuine article (just like what you'd find there).
Wool tartan plaid with a lovely weave-- The Scots are proud of their country. I proudly wear a piece of my family's heritage around my neck, thanks to excellent wool quality, superb craftsmanship, and an excellent price.
This scarf is lovely and soft, but my Scotch blood tells me it's quite thin and won't last long. I bought it as a gift, and the thin material made me feel a little self-conscious. Although you couldn't see through it, I doubt it will last longer than a year.
For my brother's birthday, I bought this for him. He had his heart set on a scarf in the color of our family tartan. I was blown away by the scarf. The colors are lovely, and the scarf is extremely comfortable. His gift was a hit with him! I'm thinking about ordering one for my father right now. I would strongly suggest it.
I purchased these as a gift for my family and am glad I did. I liked that they were made of virgin wool and that a family tartan was available. Now, I'm content that the scarf keeps me warm and is my current favorite item in this cold and snowy weather. I'm not only pleased, but overjoyed by the scarf's luxurious quality, softness, and soothing warmth.
It would have been ideal because the overall color is a dark, solid black at night, and the blue and green of the plaid is barely visible even in daylight. The beautiful plaid design is overshadowed by the overall darkness. I was off by a long shot. Everything else about the scarf is in good working order.
