Yes, it certainly is! Buff is scrunched up like a scarf in the image I'm seeing, making it difficult to see anything. It's a unisex style, but if the color is feminine, it's obviously for women. The Merino Wool Buff in full size is a big hit! Please let us know if you have any additional questions for which we can provide answers. @PlanetBuff Marie@PlanetBuff
UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) of at least 40 is found in merino wool clothing. Although we do not rate this product as independently as we do our UV products, it will still provide some sun protection.
Different neck sizes will be accommodated by Buff. They're big and long enough to fit any size neck.
This was purchased as a Christmas present for a 30-year-old woman. I can't imagine what it'd be like for an 18-year-old skier to wear something like this. one month old Sorry.

This product was mostly what I expected, but it didn't stay up very well and stretched out like a worn jersey. But what I'd like to talk about is the PRICE INCREASE in the last few weeks since COVID-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX With this global pandemic, number 19 has erupted. I find it disappointing that you keep raising the price; I've seen these go from $13 to nearly $30 and beyond. It's a shame to take advantage of people who are trying to protect themselves, and I won't be purchasing anything else from this vendor again.
I was excited to try out this wool buff because it appeared to be a good way to keep your neck warm without the added bulk of a scarf during activities such as hiking and running. I couldn't use the Buff because of its width. br>br>According to the product description, it measures 26 inches in length. 5 inches in length and 9 inches in width. 5". The gray Buff was 20" long by 11" wide when I bought it. This was too wide for me to use as a face cover; it was too loose to stay on top of my nose and ears. Even when worn loosely around the neck, the extra width caused it to sag and not fully cover my neck, exposing skin no matter how I adjusted it. If it had been the 9, I believe it would have been a different story. It would have worked perfectly if it had been 5" wide, as described. br>br>What's more perplexing is that another reviewer stated that her Buff was too tight to even pull over her head, implying that the opposite issue has occurred in the past. br>br>It appears that there are either manufacturing quality control issues or that different colors of Buffs are different sizes for some strange reason. In any case, I would strongly advise trying on before purchasing.
I ordered this as a backup and was unaware that there were different types. It's fine, and I'm sure it'll be put to good use, but keep in mind that this one is much longer. It's almost too much fabric for me to wear around my neck while hiking or biking. It also has hemmed ends and a large obnoxious tag that I had to cut off, making it a little looser than my original grey one. It might be a good idea to begin categorizing size types, such as: long, standard, and so on in the product title descriptions on Amazon to avoid any confusion, as it appears that I wasn't the only one who didn't notice before ordering.
In addition, the materials are all incorrect! Do not purchase these phony items! The cracked logo is on the left, and the original I purchased from BUFF is on the right! The logo must appear on both sides of the paper, not just one! I'm extremely disappointed!.
but warm! We "Top Bun Girls" have ear coverage. I'm going to re-write the script. I'll be starting work next month in the frigid northeast during the winter, and I'll be hoofing it from a car in a very windy area. My long hair will have to be tied back, and a hat isn't going to cut it. I went to Amazon looking for ear muffs, and the algorithm recommended the entire Buff line, which I appreciated because the ear muffs were all a little too big for me. br>br>I can't believe I've been missing out on this great product for all these years! When I first opened the package, I was concerned because the wool was so thin, almost sheer, but I've been trying it out around the house and I'm getting hot. Similar to how down works, bundling it up creates pockets of warm air. I think I'll need more ear protection if it's extremely windy and cold, like it was during the Polar Vortex. However, this will suffice for the majority of days. I don't have a big head, so I might try the Junior size in the future for a better fit, but I think the loose bunching on this is exactly what I need to keep warm. To be honest, the high-quality merino wool could go either way. No seam! I really like the rich grey color because it will go with anything. This is going to be a great addition to my winter accessory collection because it's both practical and versatile. br>br>Now I just have to decide on an authentic Buff for my summer camping trips! I imagine these are ideal for keeping pesky no-see-ums at bay. Without drenching myself in DEET or wearing a hoodie on hot, humid days, I was able to get the ums out of my ears!.
This was the best purchase I made for the trip, as well as one of the best items I brought with me. Some mornings started out cold (32F; 0C; 0C; 0C; 0C; 0C; one day when the ground is covered in snow). It was warmer but windier on other days. In the mountains, temperatures will range from the 40s to the 50s, with winds gusting up to 30 mph. br>br>With the Buff around my neck, I was able to keep my face comfortable on the bicycle for hours at a time. On cold days, I folded it in half and wore it over my ears, just below my sunglasses. It kept my nose and mouth warm while also preventing wind from getting into my ears through the liner of my helmet. When the winds were really gusting or the descents were cool, I would pull it up in a single layer on warmer days. It also provided sun protection for my neck and face. br>br>This is an excellent product. This is something I strongly suggest you do. Cycling, hiking, walking, jogging, and a variety of other activities will all be possible with it. Even with moisture on it from my breathing, the merino wool remained warm, and it did not become overly hot as the temperature rose. Merino wool's enchantment. So far, I'm very pleased with this product!.
It's a type cap that fits my head snugly but comfortably. That's a good thing, because I usually find headwear to be far too tight. It's reasonably soft, but I can still detect a hint of wool spikiness when compared to a completely synthetic garment. It does exactly what it says on the tin and keeps my head warm. I like the long length of the tube because it gives me more options; I tried some cheap synthetic knockoffs before buying a real Buff, and they were much shorter and couldn't do as many styles as the real thing.
