It appeals to my tastes. Good hat. It appeals to my tastes. It would be a five-star rating if the cord that holds it on didn't break the second time I put it on. Other than that, everything appears to be in order.
They always leak where they appear to be next to the leather. Second, I've purchased them and am very pleased with them. They always leak at the seam next to the leather band, which you should address with a seam mend. Second, because the hats are hot, I always put two small brass grommets on the inside of the hat to allow it to breathe. The water is still kept out.
The hat is well-made, but the size could be a little smaller.
Dorman Pacific is where I got this hat. 'Safari' is a word that comes to mind when I think of the word 'ad Same Hat. With a wool liner, Pendelton appears to be similar. br>Had to use Seam Grip to seam seal the hat band because it was leaking in the rain. The hat has been in my possession for three seasons. The chin strap is still in good condition. br>I ordered a size Large to fit a 7 1/4 inch waist. br>It can withstand a lot of abuse and still maintain its shape- When walking in the rain, a stiff hat band is a good choice. br> Used on Alaskan summer camping and backpacking trips.
