You can adjust this to fit a variety of heads whether they are large or small without difficulty. I have purchased several of these since I have a larger head.
The head isn't the determining factor. This is a one size fits all belt that can be adjusted by the buckle on the side. This hat is really nice.

It was sewn loosely on the left side and correctly on the right, so the left side is puffy and wrinkly, floats, and hangs loosely from the temple. The straps can be tightened even with them. For smaller heads, the screws cannot be tightened enough. There are many asymmetryes in the cap. Wearing it in a convertible and keeping my bald, shaved head protected from the sun was my main goal when I bought it As I am driving with the top down, I do have it on my head. My plan is to wash and shrink it to tighten it up, so I hope that works.
I love the style. I would rate it a 4 star if the sewing quality/consistency was better. If it had quality buckles, rather than folded tin, it would be a 5 star. There is disappointment in my heart. My other brand will arrive in a couple of days since I bought another one. The WithMoons brand tends to be better in general, but its size is inconsistent.

I didn't expect it to be this style. Despite his preferences, my husband wasn't satisfied with the style of the cabbie hat he bought to replace his old one. My dad bought it for him but I decided to show it to him anyway just to make sure he'd like it and he didn't and I waited too long and now he won't accept it back so now I have a hat no one wants or needs.
The hat was a nice color, but when I opened it, vinegar was strongly odorous. There is a vinegar smell throughout the hat. A method I use at home to clean hats allows the odor to disappear after just two washings, and hats are wearable after that.
