Great hat. I love it. The color is fantastic. Designed to fit thick natural hair, even with thick Maintains its position.
It feels like the fabric used on this hat as it is wool but my dad had a dark tan hat that felt like this when I was a kid (early 70s). In this case, it was his Montana elk hunting hat. This one brought back memories of it on the hook of his gun cabinet. I don't know what happened to it, but other than the color, it reminded me of something from his gun cabinet. As a result, I seldom touched it and, to be honest, I had forgotten about it until I opened the shipping box. In natural light the color appears more heather blue than dark gray, but indoors it has a barely discernible blue hue. The fit on my head is slightly snug, but I like it like that so when the inevitable stretch occurs, it will still look good. However, I really like the color contrast of the hat against the belt.
I wrote before that the hat feels like it is one of those wool blends as opposed to cotton/poly, and the stitching is exceptional. Although the band is cheap, cheap looks aren't evident until you look closely. At a glance, it looks like a belt and is glued on well. Besides, it stretches straight along the top of the hat. At under $17, it won't be my favorite fedora for a long time, so if it doesn't last that long, I can live I received the package in a box that was just the right size and well packaged.
It fits perfectly as well as has an adjustable strap inside. The brim is solid as well. There are a lot of compliments in my life.
Hats are my favorite clothing item, but I rarely wear them because my hair is thick and curly so they are usually out of place on me. In addition, most hats don't come in any size options, so I took my chances and ordered a large when I found that this one came in two sizes. I have been able to get it to fit perfectly, with some wiggle room to spare. My plan is to order different colors of the same product in the future.

The hats have been returned. I liked the style, quality, and color of the hats, but they were a large size, which is not correct for what I normally wear. All of my other hats are medium, and I ordered a I could fit two fingers between my head and the hat band on both hats. They were made of cheap materials and had a stupid cord inside the hat band. They were more like one size fits all hats. As long as they are properly sized and do not include the stupid tie string, I would be willing to pay double the price for the hats.
