This is more of a duffel than a tote, so you can bring it with you. If you need a diaper bag, you should buy an extra-large Longchamp tote instead.

As a personal item, it is perfect for taking on board the plane. The travelon leather strap works extremely well on the top of my luggage and fits perfect on top.
