Dakine bags are my favorite travel bags because I am a traveler. Having really enjoyed the large Dakine duffel since I had been using it for so many years, I did not hesitate to order this when it was time to retire my old carry on. like how this one folds up and can be placed in a larger bag when not in use. It is always good to have this handy tool at hand should the need arise to shuffle things at check-in. The airlines are demanding lighter checked bags, so a handy tool like this is always handy.
Having to pack a whole week's worth of camping gear required a large duffel bag. It worked fine, but the bag was very heavy, and it would have been nice to have something besides a strap to sling over your shoulder when the bag is full. It did work, but it would have been nice to have something else. I needed it to do what I needed it to do, and the fact it packs into its own pocket is nice.
The 25L bag was a good buy and I am happy with it. Although I was searching for a small duffle, I was scared to purchase this one, since Dakine is one of my favorite brands. For my trip, I packed a pair of shoes and an outfit in this bag. Despite the bag's poor quality, it has a great design.
