It is likely that there would be room for paper money in the second zipper when the phone is in. The wallet would have to be very small if it was used as a wallet. There would be no room for a man's fold over. You can also get a phone and wallet. If you want a belt that won't lay flat, you should choose one that doesn't. For a flat belt that lays flat, I selected the flat discrete belt. You can use it under clothes as well. If I do travel to foreign locations, I will keep the extra spending money that I avoided transaction fees and other costs by taking with me.
My theory is that it depends on the airport. I removed mine and stored it temporarily in my carry-on bag. The TSA check-in agent didn't object at all when I walked through with it on, because some checks require everything out of pockets, etc. Once, I forgot I had it on and was scanned without incident. This money belt fit all my needs during a recent trip to Italy since it had enough room to hold two passports, a few traveler's checks, and some credit cards. As the belt was very slim, it did not show through my clothing, the elastic band remained elastic and it was very comfortable to wear. Here's a money below that I would recommend without any hesitation. I would like to make one final comment. The elastic band was wrapped around one of my belt loops so that, even if somebody had managed to unhook the belt from its latch, the belt would not have been able to be removed because I would have felt it being pulled.
The regular would have been too big, so I'm glad I got the XS. There is a small part of my body that is heavier and more hipped than the rest of myself. My belt has relatively thin, soft, stretchy straps that are adjustable enough for me to adjust them to fit over my hips or chest if desired but can also be worn very close to my waist if I wish. The buckle on this pack is flat, not bulky like the ones on fanny packs normally. As a travel item, I purchased this jacket for my trip to South East Asia and India this winter. So far, it seems quite flat and of good quality, and I like the fact that it does not have a very prominent logo. My choice of choosing this one over many of the high-rated ones available on Amazon has proved very wise. Before a trip to Asia, I purchased the Peak travel money belt. The item I purchased was very satisfying to me. Aside from that two passports, two credit cards, and a large quantity of cash were kept in it. It was very comfortable to wear and I didn't even notice I was wearing it once it was on. It performs far better than any previous belt you have worn before. In photos, it would look like I had no bulge. So I wore it around my back to hide any obvious One exception would have allowed me to give the belt a five-star grade since it is really great. My passport in the larger pocket, and adjacent to my back was damp, and the cover curled when I would take it off. try to solve this issue on my next trip by securing my passports in a small plastic baggie, which should work. There was something I read that said that some people found it difficult to reach into the belt when making purchases on the go, thus exposing the belt. I think a money/passport belt would be great if no one would know it was It is therefore much safer for me to keep a bare-bones wallet with one credit card and some currency in my front pocket (which is much harder to pick) and only use it in nice restaurants and places to buy things. I keep a supply of local currency in my pocket for other purchases. I find that going to the bathroom when I need to retrieve my passport, etc. provides me with a safe location where I can locate my items. personally highly recommend this item with the suggestion of using a liner or baggie to protect any item which is directly adjacent to the body from moisture. The price was well worth it.
