Are airplane tickets covered by this cover?

That's not the case, according to me. This passport holder is only large enough to hold the passport. Neither is there a pocket on the inside. love mine because it is thick and durable as well as pretty to look at.

Is this passport cover able to house a pen as well as on the inside? such as a Lilly Pulitzer?

If you slide the pen clip to the outside of the passport holder, the clip will stay in place. The inside of the ring would be impossible to fit.

This passport cover would also work well as a wallet, in your opinion? Wouldn't a wallet holder or phone holder be better? Zips it up or does it have a snap closure?

There would be no note of this. There are a few slots for credit cards on the cover, just like on a book. Both the top and bottom of the bag are not zip closed. I hope this is helpful.

If you like I am in love with this cover. Can't wait to put it to use. A pen slot and a clip would make it complete! The only thing missing is a clip to hold this holder closed. Other than that, nothing can be done. The perfect solution.
