- Overall, I found the locks to be easy to operate, but on occasion I found it annoying to have to continuously switch the metal lever back and forth in order to set a combination. A small lever requires the use of a tool just the right size so that it doesn't fall off the lever and you can pry it up to the other side. A fine point pen or pencil tip may work, but other sized tips may not. As a result, I always used the flat, small tool that came with my multitool or Swiss Army knife. A backup key is not included with these locks so you can access your luggage if you forget your combination. Unless you force the lock open, I do not believe there will be any other way to open it. After I tested them all with the same combination, I used them all to keep my items safe. Easily installed and removed, they are easy to use. Cables are great! I love that they have them. There's no doubt that these are easy to cut, but if someone wants in, they will get in. The lock keeps honest people honest. It also gave me assurance when leaving my belongings in a hotel room to go to My family and I are planning on taking a vacation soon, so I purchased the ten pack for our use. The combination must be the same as the current one in order for you to change it. There is no way to use it if you forget the combination, but it is very easy to use.

I am very pleased with them. At least for the locks I received, some reviews with customer complaints did not appear to match the actual It was easy to set the locks, though you did have to use a small, hard object to flip a switch, but it was straightforward. I also like how easy it is to open. Flexibility is one of the things I like about the cord. The cord I use in this case is long, as I am using it to go through four loops on my backpack.

The downside is that the lock itself is quite heavy for a cord this light. Furthermore, I have not tested the cord, but I can't help but think that anyone with some skills could use a small tile to cut the lock, but perhaps they would not be able to. Although it seems like a very simple thing, it is a deterrent as even the biggest padlock can easily be broken. It is unlikely that they are as strong as a small metal lock, but I am not an expert.

Also, some people might find the loop too large. Obviously, it will depend on what you are going to use it for, but you can wrap the cord to make it more secure and tight. The app does exactly what it says, so I give it a 5 because I think it does just what it says. Two of mine I have been using and they have held up well since I started using them, and one is one I open It is just that I wish they didn't weigh so much, but again, it is displayed so I should be accountable.

Having six of these way makes me feel good. I never have them leave my bag. Only drawback is that it appears to be possible to lock the loop only after the combination has been entered. When you try to lock it and you don't have the correct combination, it won't work. Even though it was a minor flaw, I still give it 5 stars, but that would have been better.

They are for a project I am doing as a teacher. I bought cheap craft boxes, drilled holes in the box, and slipped these locks through to lock it. It works great because of the flexibility of the locking mechanism. The locks in the boxes need to be unlocked by the kids (each box has three locks). The collaborative piece is great and the review is great. I've tended to use this a lot and it has withstood hands eager to take control midway through middle school. I appreciate the great price and the quality of the product.

On the hard case of my gun, I put these. The code can be put in easily, or it can be changed if you wish. A three-digit code is easy to remember. Just remember the first three digits of your social security number. So far, I have not had to go through TSA with them. I would like the cable lock to be a little shorter (I can still partially open the gun case), but the cable lock is rather short. It would be easy to walk away with the entire gun case and only cut the cable lock. A new set of solid tumble locks were purchased just in case my current ones fail.
