Questions & Answers

I teach a couple of college classes, so I'd bring a laptop, iPad, and a couple of 1-hour classes with me. How do you think it would hold up/work if you had to use 2 inch binders every day?

That appears to be a good fit. There's plenty of room for binders now that the laptop section is completely separate.

Is the back pocket's accordion section snappable or foldable, allowing you to use the entire space instead of just the files?

Due to the fact that the accordion section does not snap out or fold up, it is limited to individual file storage.

Aside from price, what's the difference between "one size" and "17" drop down?

One size measures 15" in length, while the other measures 17" in length:

Is it possible to attach it to the top of a carry-on bag?

Yes, it has a back strap that can be used to secure it to a carry-on bag. It's a lovely purse.

Screw issues in the handle are a real problem! This was my favorite bag; it was a true office-on-wheels
3/5

Unfortunately, after 6 months, a screw came out of the handle (a common problem reported by others). I can't fix it myself, so I'm looking for a seller who can. Luggage Pros: br>br> or refuses to be repaired. I paid $115 for it, and now I'm debating whether it's worth it to find someone to repair it and spend more money.

IDEAL FOR STUDENTS IN COLLEGE
5/5

Basically, I'm too lazy and old to lug heavy textbooks and other supplies around a large campus; let's face it, colleges are much larger and require a lot more walking than high school. I 100% believe that the pictures do not do enough justice for this bag so I will post some of my own! The wheels are fantastic; they are super sturdy and spin in all directions. I also like how it has handles like a purse, making it easy to carry up stairs and other places. br>The first zipper is fantastic; it has a ton of space for supplies like pens, sticky notes, and so on. br>br>The second zipper is equally fantastic! Ana padding is ideal for protecting a laptop and its accessories in a small space. br>br>My favorite section is the last one because I was worried about how big it would be, but it has plenty of room for some notebooks and textbooks! I was nervous overall while having this is my cart because I was not sure if the amount was worth it but now that I have it I can say 100% it is! This is an investment that is well worth your money! The size is ideal, and the shell is tougher than most luggage, so you won't have to worry about it bending over time. I have a lunch box that straps to the handles, so I'll be putting it on top and walking around with it!.

So far, this has been a fantastic mobile office
4/5

Prior to purchasing this, I spent far too much time reading reviews of rolling briefcases, so here's another one. The price and feminine style were the final factors in my decision, and this bag meets both criteria. Being a mobile office has its drawbacks. Mine is dragged endlessly across rough parking lots, bouncing tile floors (and the noise that comes with it), over curbs, and on airport x-ray machines. In and out of overhead compartments, up ramps, through puddles, and in and out of cars with ray belts. The most common complaint in reviews of all mobile offices was their lack of durability, which is my only issue with this bag. After only a few months, the telescoping handle has become finicky, and I've had to tighten the handle screws several times. I believe the wheels will wear out long before the rest of the bag. If that's the case, I'm hoping there's a way to replace the wheels without having to buy a new bag altogether. It's a great bag, except for my fear that it won't last. The stitching is sturdy, the zippers are functional, the handles are adequate for carrying it upstairs, the tablet pocket in front is soft and holds an iPad 2 Air with a keyboard case, and the laptop pocket can easily accommodate a larger laptop. The front organizers store all of my office supplies, and the pockets in the laptop area keep my chargers from becoming tangled. The lining is nice, and the light color helps you find things quickly. The back pocket can hold several thick files, but due to their rigidity, it can only hold one or two full 1 1/2" binders. Except when I open the back compartment too wide in a hurry and leave it open, the bag stays upright even when fully loaded. The bag's black color hides the dirt that will inevitably be kicked up onto it. Most rolling briefcases are too large, masculine, and boxy, so I've received several compliments from women who like the style. Despite the fact that I'm itinerant and always on the move, I don't care if I appear to be moving or carrying a suitcase as I travel from site to site. Guess who really likes this bag? My chiropractor, of course! The doctor lifted my purse a few times and was taken aback by the weight it placed on my shoulders - I can only imagine the scolding he'd give me if he hefted the fully loaded (but cute) designer tote bag I used to tote around. I'm a strong and athletic guy who has always accepted that lugging stuff around was a part of my job, but it's so nice to only lift the bag when it's absolutely necessary and leave it on wheels for the rest of the day! Also, I recall how many times that heavy tote bag cut into my shoulder as people came up to me to talk about something; Because of the weight, I unconsciously cut conversations short (come on, you know you've done it if you're still reading this long review!). The bag's four spinner wheels are one of its best features. On smooth surfaces, they roll smoothly and quietly, and the weight is not distributed across the hand and wrist as it is with two-wheeled vehicles. The upright handle on wheeled bags allows you to move the bag while holding another necessity: Starbucks coffee (in a reusable carafe, of course!). For flights, the telescoping handle has several different heights, so it can be lined up perfectly with my carry-on suitcase, placed back to back, and both bags can be rolled easily with one hand; it also has a strap on the back to lift it onto the carry-on's handle; It balances itself on top of a hard case suitcase without falling over. So far, this has been an excellent mobile office. If there was an advertised way to replace the wheels and handle, I would feel more confident in fully recommending this bag to the Samsonite folks. Also, there might be a way to add a water bottle holder without ruining the bag's lines; My purse is now heavier because the water bottle I had in my tote bag has been transferred to my purse. A 20 oz. water bottle, if I'm not carrying too many files. (Of course, this is a reusable bottle! ) fits in the back compartment, but I get dehydrated because it's embarrassing to squat in a dress and open the bag every time I want a drink of water. Perhaps a zip-out holder, similar to those found on Targus laptop bags, or an elastic pocket on the back of the bag? This mobile office would be ideal if these flaws were addressed, even if the price was slightly higher.

Handbag and laptop case in one! Handbag and laptop case in one! I've tried a few different Amazon rolling laptop bags, and this one is by far the best
5/5

When the handle is raised, all five wheels rotate smoothly, and there is an easy access front zipper compartment for cell phones, wallets, makeup, and other items. Front middle compartment for iPad, water bottle, snacks, light jacket, and files. Middle compartment holds your full-size laptop, chargers, folders, and even a pair of comfortable flats or sneakers for travel. It's of good, long-lasting quality. It's a little heavier than other bags of this size, but I only ever lift it to put it in the overhead compartment, even on Southwest, or to get in and out of cars. My height is 5'0. This is something I would purchase again.
