Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how wide the straps of the backpack are? It's possible to wear it if your shoulders are broad?

The question is a good one. Normally, my wife wears it while riding, but even with a leather jacket (w / armor) on, it seems like plenty of room for the straps to loosen even more. I would like to be of more assistance, but I'm sorry.

Is this bag large enough to be used as a carry-on on a plane. ?

It is true. It has traveled to Africa on several occasions as a carry-on

How big is this bag and how much weight does it have?

The volume dimensions and weight of the book are 2441 In3 The dimension of this envelope is 11H x 12L. A 2W X 10 format is also suitable. The 6D IN is not working. This is about 7 pounds.

Could you tell me what version of the Transporter 40 this is?

They are from about 18 months ago when we purchased them. The current version was available at the time. I don't know if there has been a subsequent update. Currently, the packs have been on trips to Peru, Ecuador, and Zambia where they have performed admirably. Our backpacks and these packs carry us for two or more weeks at a time.

The design of the website has a number of flaws
3/5

Having five Osprey bags would make me a happy girl! I look forward to trying this bag out (I would have made it the fifth bag I own. I love the size of this bag for my 3 year old While I appreciate the shape of the luggage, it has some design flaws to me that I think are pretty obvious. Interestingly, the bottom of the bag does not have this material covering. The top of the bag (via the main compartment) has a plastic material that I love, but the outside of the bottom does not. Rather than having a plastic coating on the outside of the bag, the bottom panel of the bag has one on the inside. When the bag is put down, the fabric is on the ground or floor. Despite its being an easy-to-clean, wipeable surface, I expect to get the most dirt on what should be the cleanest part of the bag Material that is neat and clean. It also means that the bottom of the bag faces out (possibly with a dirty and wet fabric on it) when you carry it on your back. In the front of the bag, there is a decorative part of plastic coated on the outside. Your muscles are not functioning properly and you are sweating. In addition, the panel against your back is not padded (just as with Trailkit and Snowkit). Furthermore, I was highly disappointed that there weren't any extra little stowaway pockets, nor any compression straps for the belt. In the bag are straps that hold items in place, which is great, however you things will be pushed against the bottom of the bag due to the way the bag is designed. In the event that your bag is not nearly full, the weight will be taken off your back when you put it on. It would be great if there were some compression straps on the outside of the bag so you could pull the weight towards your back (especially while the bag is on your back). This bag is being returned, at least for the moment. We may be able to fix this in the next version.

I took three bags with me
4/5

(Usually in urban settings) I travel as a backpacker. My experience with Osprey bags for this purpose has been mixed. The first gun I bought was an In the next step, I moved up to This is an Osprey Transporter that I am using now. I am who I am and what am I looking for in the bag? Throughout the day, I work in a different city, and my free time allows me to explore each one. Urban areas are usually where I spend most of my time. There is no hiking or climbing, and you commute by cab, train, bus, or plane. Every week I pack up to seven days' worth of food The clothing, shoes, shoes, and camera you will need for 10 days. There isn't a need for a lot of straps or bells and whistles on my treadmill. To carry heavy things in the city, I need a bag that can hold as much as possible, is sturdy, has decent padding, and is easy to carry. Therefore, following is a summary of my progress In terms of size, the Porter 46 has a "straightjacket" design that is much too bulky. Despite its bulletproof qualities, I'm not sure under what circumstances I would need it As a result, it provides protection of a sort. Having racked up 2 trips of bringing the Porter 46 around, it just felt cumbersome, excessive, and weighty. In comparison to my 40L bags, I honestly did not feel the extra 6L at all. Since it is so rigid, it is hard to really cram everything inside. With these issues dealt with, I decided to move onto the well-being of the employees We highly recommend Farpoint 40 based on our review. My bag was used for about four trips (USA PNW, Asia SEA, There is a good reason why this bag is so popular. A good balance of protection, durability, pockets for organization, and a spacious main compartment set it apart from the competition. Aside from the sturdy frame, the bag also boasts a good hip strap and straps around the outer edges for stability. I was considering switching to the Transporter 40L but with so many pros, why did I decide to move to it? FP40 had too many pockets for me and I failed to make use of them. There is one large and bulky part of it An outer padded pocket holds a laptop, and there are pen slots and a mesh pocket inside. My laptop is the only thing I ever use it for, and it takes away way too much real estate for that. In my world, flexibility is the name of the game. In that space, there were at least four more cans I could have packed Whenever a t-shirt is needed, there will be five. Now that I have discussed my testing and have moved onto my next trial with the Transporter 40, here I am. Compared to the Porter 46L and the Farpoint 40L, it has one giant compartment that I can make better use of. All this bag is, is a very sturdy, spacious duffel bag that comes When I returned home from my most recent trip, I was able to fit about 12 T-shirts into my suitcase The clothing included two shirts, one flannel, one hoodie, ten pairs of socks, ten pairs of underwear, two pairs of pants, my toiletries bag, a laptop, and With the camera removed, both my Porter 46 and FP40 can hold about the same amount of gear. There is definitely more room in this one. As soon as I saw this bag at my door, I was quite pleased with it. That's all right. I am apprehensive. Roll it up in the packaging cube and store it away. My understanding of the necessity for this was a bit unclear. If I have to pack and roll up my main backpack, is there a timeframe I can expect to do that? Furthermore, it was soft and malleable, and I saw this as a sign of a lack of structure and Due to the fact that I had never expected it, I was VERY close to just returning it. But I had already unpacked it a day earlier, and I had a late flight the next morning. It seemed like a good idea to just dive in and give it a try. With this bag, I spent more than two months traveling around Europe. Just got back to the United States The following are my thoughts on this bag The pros are This holds the duffel bag as well as the backpack. The fact that this feature exists is actually a huge plus According to my travel style, I prefer to switch back and forth between a shoulder bag and a backpack. Whenever I have to use the other bags, I have to hold them by the arms, which is painful. I found this style of carry to be incredibly handy on this trip, since it was so much easier to get on and off planes and buses and into tight spaces. *In the main compartment, over four times more is held than in the Porter and Farpoint. This bag does not have little pockets for organization if you do not need them. On the other hand, on the flip side there is the following As far as organization goes, this bag lacks that, so if you need a slot for your laptop, a space for your little knick knacks, this is not the bag On the plus side, there is ONE pocket on top of the bag, and it is pretty spacious. Among the items I was able to fit in my purse were my wallet, keys, bar of soap, phone, power bank, watch, and four Clif The pocket is pretty decently sized, though there are a few cons One top pocket and one main compartment can be found again. There will not be any organizational pockets available to you. The contents of the bag cannot be cinched down with outer straps! I'm only able to use the interior straps, which is fine, but I really miss the outer straps of the Farpoint 40. Outside straps would be the one thing I'd like to see in the next iteration.

This is the perfect traveling companion! I like it because it is perfect for travel! The quality of Osprey's gear is impressive, so let me commend them on that

In addition, this is the second backpack that I have bought from them, and I'm completely in love with them. In the beginning, I bought the Sirrus 24 without doing any research at all. There was a backpack that I wanted that could carry 3 liters of water During my trip to Europe, I will bring four days' worth of clothes. The Sirrus 24 can only hold about 2 days' worth of stuff for me, and it wasn't until I realized it was made to go hiking that I realized this. In all honesty, I was only concerned with its size. Do some research, and thirdly, do a little bit of homework! Even so, I kept it because I liked it so much. I am sure I will put it to good use when I return to the United States. it and it is exactly what I have been looking for. Thank you very much! With the backpack or duffel, I can carry it as I would a suitcase. It is not too hard that it would not be flexible in the overhead compartment of the plane, but its durability makes it suitable. As someone who travels light and who carries only a few things to begin with, I will be able to fit three of these in my bag There is enough material here for four days. As a short girl, 5' 1", I can easily rest my back on it.
