A size 8 fits my 11-year-old who has a smaller frame. While she was in quarantine, I had to buy her this swim suit since she couldn't go out to purchase one during her home quarantine. If your child is 8 and still hasn't blossomed then this might be a nice swimsuit for him. You may wish to consider the following if you have a petite older child who has started puberty You may want to keep in mind that this top has a V-neck. As long as it doesn't reveal too much, I'm fine, but my daughter's becoming more conscious of her body with age. Her 11-inch smartphone was our gift to her This shirt was a size 12 and was too big for me, so I went down a size and it fits Her clothes are large and slim, and she will be 11 in 3 months, so the bottoms are perfect, but the top is slightly loose, but she will still be able to wear it. Because of the shape of my daughter, I think this bathing suit fits her size, as she normally does not wear her size in bathing suits. Her comment is that the two-piece is comfortable and does a good job of covering her. It is reasonably lined, and isn't too revealing for a two-piece. It seems like these kind of tops stay put better than triangle tops, which is beneficial since she is an active swimmer. I think it's a cute sports cut two piece with a fun style and that the colors are pretty close to what they must be The purchase was a good one. Despite all these loves, we even saved the larger size for next year since she cherished them.

That suit is so cute! The size is normally a 10, but the 12 was ordered instead. The clothes still fit with a bit of room in them, yet aren't too large to have to go up a size. They should last me through the summer. The daughter picked the yellow, which is a beautiful shade of yellow. The detailed strap on the back was her favorite part. It was an appropriate amount of coverage.
