Questions & Answers

Is there a difference between a size 4 and a size 4T?

The 4 has a 1/2" larger waist and hips, as well as a 1/4" higher rise.

My 2. The five-year-old is potty-trained and wears a size twelve diaper. On the bottom, there is a 18-month-old baby. Will she be able to wear the 2T or will it be too big for her?

My daughter, too, has always been a little shorter on the "bottom" - However, this brand, in my opinion, runs true to size. If she wears this summer, she's starting to fit into 18-inch heels. If you're 24 months old and shopping at Carter's, size up to a 2T.

When not wearing a swim diaper, do these fit snugly around the legs? (3t)?

These were purchased for my Granddaughter, who is a size 6, and I found them to be true to size, fitting her like a pair of underwear. She adores them and has been swimming in them with a sun protective swim shirt every day for the past two months! I would buy them again:

I have a three-year-old with a 4t torso and a 2t1/2 bottom, and the 3t walmart bottoms are too big, while the 3t target bottoms fit fine. What size should I order in these?

Hello,br>Our 2t has a finished waist measurement of 16 1/2", while our 3t has a finished waist measurement of 17". I'm afraid I can't help with the comparisons to other store brands. The 2t rise is 6 1/2" and the 3t is 6 3/4". City Threads clothing runs true to size; if possible, could you compare the waist measurements of the best-fitting brand to ours? Tweens will love it! In normal circumstances, my 12-year-old daughter wears a size 12/14
5/5

We found a super cute swim top in Target's juniors section, but the bottoms it came with were too big for a girl her age. Solid black tween bikini bottoms were extremely difficult to come by. These are comfortable to wear and are not too flashy. It goes well with a variety of swim tops!.

For a tween girl, the material is indecently thin, and there is no privacy! What a letdown! Throughout the season, my 12-year-old son has required additional swim trunks
3/5

Swimwear for this age group is limited in terms of style, fit, and appropriateness. We were so optimistic when we ordered these swim bottoms in two sizes and a variety of colors, hoping that at least one of them would fit. Despite the fact that the fit was good and my daughter could fit into both sizes 10 and 12, the material is so thin that they are unwearable and indecent for a teen girl. I'm surprised there haven't been any other reviews of these swim bottoms with this effect. Regardless of color, all four pairs that we ordered had the same problem. I can't imagine how they'd look if they'd gotten wet! Please beware if you have a tween/teen girl who requires normal privacy over the front bikini area; they actually fit her and provided good coverage on the backside. These aren't going to work! Purchases should be avoided.

Separates for the children, at long last! So, I've had an ongoing problem where I buy rash guard sets for my girls and the bottoms are always way too big for them, so I end up wearing bottoms from years ago (like a 3T bottom with a 6T top), but after years of use, the bottoms wear out, and I've been looking literally everywhere to try to find just basic bikini bottoms for little girls in pink and purple to match their rash guard tops, and finally, after looking on literally every website, The victory of a small mom!

There are no lines in this picture
3/5

I'm giving these a one-star rating because they aren't lined and are thus see-through when my daughter wears them. She'll never be able to put this on. I was relieved to discover only bottoms because she required a smaller size than the top she already owned. Very let down.

It does, in fact, run true to size! These bottoms in a size 8 are a bit smaller in both waist and coverage in the back than the Land's End pair I'm comparing to, though the Land's End pair I'm comparing to is a bit stretched out from a summer of use
4/5

They're very similar in size as a result. br>br>They're also not lined. The material isn't thin in my opinion. It's the same thickness as a regular swimsuit bottom, but unlike Land's End, which lines all of their suit bottoms from front to back, these are simply regular lycra/spandex-based bottoms. All of the material is of this type. If that's what you're concerned about, this is something to consider. br>br>They're also a little too expensive for 0. This company and Land's End appear to have the entire market on selling suit separates. 5 ounces of material (I could have bought an entire suit for that price), but it appears that this company and Land's End have the entire market on selling suit separates.

Please include a lining in the design! Aside from that, the suit is fantastic! If it weren't for one fatal flaw, this girls bikini would be perfect
3/5

Because there is no lining, you will lose coverage if the bottom gets wet. I'm not saying the bottom is transparent, but the outline of everything in the nether region can be seen clearly. The cut, color, and fabric, on the other hand, are fantastic. My daughter prefers this swimsuit to all others, particularly because of the low price. Please begin using a lining for these!.

It is perfect! Swim rash guards are worn as tops by my 7-year-old daughter, and the tops are rarely accompanied by bottoms
5/5

She wears a size 7/8 rash guard, and the two bottoms that came with them are way too big (gymboree's bottoms are huge). I ordered a size 6 and it fits like underwear, with no gaps and a full coverage of her body. It doesn't appear to bunch or ride up as she swims throughout the summer.

Bottoms are fantastic
5/5

Colors are vivid and of high quality. Exceptional reporting. In two weeks, my daughter will be six years old and tall (approximately 44" tall). Size 6 pants are always too big in the waist for me (I'm exactly 43 pounds), so I ordered a size 5. They're a good fit if you give them a little breathing room.
