Due to misreading the description, I failed to do so In this material, the lace is applied to the front of a cotton shirt, not a sweater. The spring is a good time for that. Designed for women who are petite. I think that size 11/12 would be too short in the sleeves for my average 11 year old. Instead of 8 years old, fits 8 year old daughter.
