purchased the size 10 for my daughter who is 9 years old and stands about average height, so I'd estimate a size 12 would fit her 12-inch shoes fit into a 14-inch shoe It is the age of 14.

Her normal sized clothing falls between a 10/12 and a 12-14. Her Christmas dress, which she needs to wear next week for a school program, barely fits over this. It would have been better to return it for a larger size if it had not been needed so soon, but there isn't time. I strongly recommend getting a size larger than is indicated in the chart. In addition, it is way overpriced, does not look even close to the price charged, and also provides a poor value!.
It is probably just too small for her once I wash it, but I haven't washed it yet.

The size xl was much better than the size medium, which I ordered based on the size medium arriving. Much to my surprise, it was a perfect fit for my daughter! Her shoulders are quite broad, so finding sweaters that fit her shoulders and don't have ridiculously long sleeves can be challenging. During the dance, she looked gorgeous and we were happy to see her.
My daughters' Christmas outfits turned out to be very cute and just what I needed. They actually run a little small, so it is good I ordered them a little bigger. Besides that, one of the clasps on my bag came off, but I managed to fix it fairly easily.
