These are cute socks that appear to be of good quality, but I'm not sure how anyone believes they're suitable for children with sensitivity issues because they have strings on the inside and a seam with loose strings/bumps on the toe. With my sensitive girl, they failed the test.
Everyone who complains about the "strings" in the socks has no idea how knit works! When a color change occurs on a commercially knitted item, the thread is cut to transition to the next color. This isn't a problem with the quality of the product. These socks have been with us for about three years and have performed admirably. They didn't lose their shape or sturdiness, and they're still as adorable as ever. They're still thick and comfortable after hundreds of washes. They're a hit with our little girls. Sure, the strings may not be suitable for all, but that is true of any patterned knitted product; if your children have "sensory issues," opt for solid color socks instead. The more complicated the pattern, the more color changes are required. That's simply how things are. These socks are excellent quality, and I would buy them again.
They're seemless socks, which I bought for my special little girl who can't stand them. I figured I could trim the stray threads, which most seamless socks still have, because she is picky. Hundreds of loose threads can be found in each of these socks. Cute, but not for children who have trouble with tangled threads.
There are a lot of unwelcome threads inside that stock up on their nails and fingers.
If there are seams, please do not advertise them as "seamless. " I'm disappointed because I had hoped for better mornings, but they haven't materialized.
BE AWARE, BABY! As many other reviews have stated, there are numerous loose threads inside the socks, which I didn't notice until it wrapped around my baby's toe! If I find out too late, it will be disastrous. I had no idea the sock bothered my one-and-a-half-year-old because she barely speaks in sentences. I was oblivious because she dislikes wearing socks in general. However, after an hour of wearing them, I removed them because I wash her after she goes potty. OMG! Between her toes, I discovered a deep mark! When she refused to wear them, I was devastated and felt guilty. I'm sure it'll have disastrous consequences if parents have similar experiences but have to wear them for long periods of time! So proceed with caution. Take extreme caution!.
These are incredibly adorable. They are incredibly soft and cozy. These will be a big hit with my great granddaughter. br>However, she might have to wait a few years before she can put them on. I was under the impression that I had placed an order for a toddler size 2 shoe. They were 3T and came in a small size. It appears that they are quite large. But I'll keep them until they're the right size for her. If I return these, they will no longer be in this design. br> The tops of the socks are decorated with adorable animal faces. These aren't full faces, but rather the suggestion of faces, eyes, noses, and mouths, with only the tiniest amount of fur defining the features. The fox's expression is adorable. One of them looks like a pig. I haven't yet removed all of them from the box.
They're not seamless, and they're not designed for sensitive children; I tried similar socks and they didn't help. Possibly, we reached an age (7 years) when cuteness relieved some of the stress associated with the way the socks felt; whatever the case, these socks are worn. However, because the dryer can coarsen the sock, I would recommend line drying them.
