Unless he's got Itty Bitty toes. nope. My 6-year-old daughter wears the larger size because the size 6 was way too small for her when she was four years old! This is a pair of large baby or toddler socks.
They're not for adults; they're for toddlers.
My daughter wears a size 11 in little girls' shoes, so I bought her a size 7 to 8. 5 and there is still some room for improvement.
My son wears a size 11 shoe, which is a good fit for him.

First and foremost, the sizing here is completely illogical. They're both referred to as children's socks. Maybe it's just me, but my youngest is a size 7, so I ordered that size, and my oldest is a size 11/12, so I ordered the 9-. All of the things that arrived were enormous! The 9- I'm a women's size 7 and an 11 fits me perfectly. The 7-inch shoe My child is a size 11/12, and a size 5 fits her perfectly. So I'm not sure if I missed anything or not. The socks, on the other hand, are fantastic! The material is nice and thick, and the construction is excellent. Cute too. I'm not sure why the sizing is the way it is.
They were the perfect fit for my 4-year-old, who is of average height and build. He's got a size nine shoe on. ten in footwear.
These were purchased for my son, who wears a size 5 shoe for big kids, but they were too small for him. I had to ask for a refund, which they graciously granted without asking for anything in return. I went up a size (7-1/2) in size. 5)And it's still not big enough. These socks are usually my favorites, but only when they're on sale. Purchased in a store. Guessing on the internet isn't working out so well.
These are unmistakably boys' socks, not toddlers'. I read the reviews and decided to take a chance, but these are intended for young boys. Toddlers are not one of them. The description said toddler when I first bought it, but that has since changed.
We recently purchased these fantastic socks in the mistaken belief that they were for girls in my child's size (my eleven-year-old wears a size 5 shoe, so I purchased Girls size shoe 4-). They are, unfortunately, designed for toddlers.
Fits my 18-month-old a little large, which is fine, but it means I'll have to size up his shoes to accommodate the extra sick length. br>br>I'm hoping he'll be able to fit into these in a variety of sizes. In other thinner socks, he wears a size 4 sandal and tennis shoes, but he must definitely wear a size 5 with these thick socks. br>br> It's a little hot for summer, but the comfort should compensate. Plus, it's fun to match mom's socks (I got the same pair, but in adult size, after my husband ordered socks that were too small for him in the past! Haha).
My 8-year-old son received these. He is a size 1 or 2, sizing up to a size 2. These socks are a little tight at first, but they stretch out, and I believe he prefers his socks to be a little tighter. I've noticed that these socks keep his feet smelling fresher than other socks (they're not as stinky!). I don't think you'd go wrong with ordering a size up, but these stretch easily, so this is the size I'd recommend.
For my 6-year-old son, I purchased an eight-pack of low-cut socks. They appear to be well-made, fit well, and come in a variety of colors, so they can be worn with a variety of outfits. The only thing to keep in mind is that they don't have any grip on the bottom, so I wouldn't recommend them for slick floors.
