It's a pleasure to wear these shoes! In spite of the fact that these shows are slightly more expensive than I would like to spend on kids' shows, they are well worth the investment. I could spend $20 or more for a pair of lightweight shoes that I can wash in the machine. In comparison, these shoes hold up much better for a long time. It costs $30 for a pair of shoes from Target that don't last well and fall apart after a few washings. Furthermore, the shoelaces on these shoes are a nice touch. A pair of big kid's shoes like this is hard to come by. The kid is too busy to pull his own shoelaces, so it simply isn't worth worrying about.
