They're not the same as the Jack brand, but they're the shoes that my toddler wears all the time, and I bought the white ones because the Target brand didn't have any white ones. She is a size 4 and wears a 4 in clothing. The third and fourth books were purchased. I'm kicking myself because I didn't get the 5. Because she has a chubby foot, they leave faint indentations on the tops of her feet.
My daughter is also an 8, so I ordered a size 8 for her. It will fit, but there isn't any room for growth. I wish I could have gotten a size 9, but since there are no straps or anything, you have to get the correct size because there is no way to secure the shoe to the foot if it's too big.
