There are only a few shoes I have found that are helpful for my 6 year old who has sensory issues. Even during the hottest months, they stay fresh after a quick run through the washing machine. I was worried at first that these shoes would show scuffs after a few wears or the color would fade or the rubbery material would rip, since we've bought her lots of shoes over the years. We have been pleasantly surprised by how durable these are. Any scuffs that she has gotten on them can simply be cleaned off by hand with a damp cloth or with some The Target brand pair we were wearing every few months were nearly worn out after a month of daily wear, but these look brand new after a month. My child will definitely outgrow these when they are no longer comfortable.
