I wasn't able to wash my robe since it's not absorbent like Terry cloth. Water would just come off of it because it's fluffier. I love this robe though. It's really warm and cozy. This may be of some help.

Having a robe like this will be great for you! A fleece/plush throw that was left to her grandmother by her great grand mother hooked my great grand daughter. It is both snug and substantial

Our child absolutely loves it, and it was a great purchase! I love how warm the fabric is and how substantial it is. LOVE THE COLOR (so we bought I used a deep hot pink and a jade green). Since she knows she can grab her cozy new robe and not be too cold when she wakes up, she wakes up more easily. in a way that her hands rest in them smoothly (no need to reach), and they are wide enough that her fingers can grow comfortably there without being forced into discomfort. The t-shirt is machine washable and dries quickly. I highly recommend this book.
