As her favorite nightgown is soft, silky and she loves princess themes, I ordered this thinking that she would like the princess theme and colorful skirt. As far as safety is concerned, if your child tosses and turns the strips will end up wrapping around them in the weirdest ways. A strip of my daughter's hair actually had to be untangled by me. It's a nightgown, so don't dry it at all! If you take 20 minutes to unbraid and unknot the skirt, you will be able to do it. We now use this primarily as a play costume, and when it needs to be washed, we pull out the knots before hanging it to dry. This is not the best option for little girls nightgowns. There are safer options out there, so I recommend skipping.

It is a lovely nightgown. I love that it can also be worn as a dress. My daughter also likes that it can be worn as a nightgown. I give my daughter the privilege of wearing it to bed because she thinks it's so special. This garment fits my granddaughter, who is 3 years old. This youngster is a bit taller than average for a child his age. As her mom points out, she could have gotten 4T or even 5T instead of the 3T I got for her since she "could grow into it. ". At this point, she looks like a weed. As suggested by the reviews, I sized up to size 5 but the 4 was out of stock so I ordered the size. The gown ended several inches above the ankles of my 3 1/2 year old, who stands 41 inches tall. It would have been better if the size 6 had been available. The material isn't appealing to me. While polyester looks to be a bit warm during the spring and summer, it seems like it will be more comfortable in the summer. The size 4 will be fine to wear this summer as I'm too lazy to exchange it. I'll keep that and keep her the size 4.
This dress was a gift for my 1 year old. Currently, she is five years old, and she loves it a lot. There is a lot of twirling going on. Flowing tulle fabric is used for the rainbow colors, and the silky dress feels heavenly on the skin. She does not seem bothered by the sleeve caps (tulle), even though I would find them itchy.
