However, there is an issue with sizing differences between brands. I ordered a few skirts and found that Nautica is three fingers narrower than French Toast in size 16. To make matters worse, there is no zipper on the side of the skirt, so my daughter couldn't get it to go over her back. br>(My daughter is 9 years old, stands 5 feet tall, and weighs around 110 pounds; I usually buy her size 14 clothes. ).

Hopefully, they will correct this design flaw in the future. br>br>Because my 7-year-old is tall, I chose a size 8 for her. However, she has a large waist and should have ordered a size 7. My nine-year-old daughter is a perfect fit for a size eight. She stands at a respectable height and weighs in at a healthy weight. br>br>I recommend not sizing up and double-checking waist measurements on the child and the size chart (which I didn't do).
I believe that a uniform is a uniform, and that getting dressed should be simple as long as the color and cut are good. WRONG! I bought a few of these for her because she loves skirts and skorts. She adores them so much that she dug them out of the hamper and put them on before I even noticed, and the fabric still looks new and pressed after a day of wear and a night in the hamper. It's the kind of material that won't pill! It appears to be brand new after washing. I'm impressed, and I'll keep buying her uniforms from this company. Their polos, by the way, are her favorite because of the slimmer cut and soft fabric!.
These are the best for my daughter, who has a larger frame. She stands a little over 4 feet tall and weighs about 69 pounds. I was recommended these by a friend, and I'm glad I did. I went with a size 8. They are comfortable to wear and keep their shape throughout the day. They don't need to be ironed, which I adore. From here on out, these will be our go-to uniform bottoms.
This is a size 14 shirt that I bought for my 10-year-old daughter to wear to school as part of her uniform. She stands 4'10" tall and has a slim/regular build with a curvy hip/back area. I ordered several more because it fits her perfectly and she finds it very comfortable. It has a more mature feel to it. It has a cute look to it, with just enough pleats (my daughter despises fully pleated skirts). For us, this was a fantastic find!.
They have pockets, which is why I bought them. What is it about skirts with pockets that makes them so difficult to find? br>br>I purchased this as well as two pairs of shorts for my daughter's band camp trip at the end of the month, but this is far too small for her. I wish they had it in the right size for her to wear! Before you order, I've included a photo with the waist measurement for your reference. A size 16 was ordered for me.
Changing from one brand to another does not always yield positive results. The Nautica Uniform Scooters size 10 fit perfectly on my 8-year-old daughter, who has an average body frame and is slightly taller. br>It's of good quality, and it holds up well in the wash (better than store brands and other alternatives we've collected over time). We intend to purchase more in the future.
I purchased five to see her through the school week. They're comfortable to wear, wash well (and don't come out wrinkled), and appear to be durable enough to last the school year. When she outgrows the current size, I'll be purchasing these again; she and I both enjoy them.
