I ended up with a size 9 boot because he was a size 6/7 at the time. It was perfect, and he is now 24 months old, and they are still in excellent condition. This provided him with plenty of room to expand while also allowing him to fit in comfortably. They didn't appear to be particularly large on him. I like these because I can just rinse them and leave them to dry overnight, and they are very light. For toddlers, the majority of rain boots are quite heavy. I can't say enough good things about these! He also has chubby little feet, so going up a size made it easier to put on and take off the shoes. I'll keep buying them for a long time. br>br>One of my concerns was that buying two sizes up would result in them being too big. They weren't, and they didn't want to be. It simply made putting them on and taking them off easier. He was perfectly at ease in them. He can now put them on himself at the age of two. Crocs are one of my favorite brands, which is why I bought these shoes for my daughter. I bought a size larger in case she outgrows them. She liked the color, and they were true to size.
