My son had trouble putting the Velcro straps on right away. There was a bend in the strap and it broke. As he went out to ride his bike it broke again. We fixed it and then he went for a ride He has now found that every time he tightens the strap, the last part They were going to be returned except that the soles were dirty from his bike riding. I would not recommend these shoes or purchase them in the future. An update - Earlier in the day I heard back from the customer service department and they offered to replace or refund my shoes hassle free. It's been great working with them. I like them for the price. They aren't great, but we use them for hikes (mainly moderate mountain trails) and they have lasted 4 months despite some rough use. You will be upgrading your kids' shoes if they are torn apart by your cheap Walmart shoes. As far as the insoles are concerned, they cause the fatal flaw. As soon as the first week was over, the inner lining began unraveling. It was really disappointing to hear that. In less than one month, the padding disintegrated. In four months, the bottom of the pyramid has collapsed completely. Neither of my boys was able to recover from this around the same time. Another problem I have with them is that they claim to be waterproof. These are not waterproof in any way. There is no resistance to it. It takes days for these things to dry after being walked through wet grass. As a result, I do not regret purchasing the game. It's not much of a problem to say they look good. After one month of wear, these shoes could not be worn any more. A large part of the bottom of the shoe was missing. The money was a waste of time and money, so do not waste your time and money on this. Normally, I would have submitted a 0 star review, but for some reason, I was not able to.
