They last a long time, so when I bought the next size up for my 9-year-old, the old set serves as a great back-up for my 7-year-old, even after three years. I like the bright colors because they help me identify my child in a crowd. They dry quickly, are extremely comfortable, and have excellent airflow. I could have gotten a legging rash guard for less money, but I wanted to support the American economy. I've never been let down by a City Threads product. I needed full-coverage sun protection in this case. When my very pale daughter wears these leggings and a long sleeve rash guard top (which we already had), I only have to apply sunscreen to her feet, hands, and face. Both of us are overjoyed.

sun pants that aren't too bright I bought a couple of these for my kids to wear at the beach to keep them safe from the sun and sand. I went up a size, and the fit was perfect. The quality appears to be good, and there appears to be no wear and tear after several uses. The bright red color makes it easy to see in water and in congested areas.

These swim tights are overpriced in my opinion, but they are required for sun protection. They're well-made, and the bright red color hasn't faded even after several washes. It's a lot less work than trying to apply (and re-apply) for a job. Apply sunscreen to a child who despises it. They also add a layer of warmth to the water when it's still a little chilly.

Skin cancer is no laughing matter, and even a minor burn as a child can increase a child's chances of developing cancer later in life. What's the point in taking a chance? Allow them to spend hours at the beach or in the pool without having to worry about reapplying sunscreen every 80 minutes!.

I gave it four stars because of the customer service and the possibility that this particular pair was a fluke. The bum ripped open after a single use. Even with a mild rinsing to remove the clorine, they immediately began to degrade. The amazing customer service refunded the entire purchase price due to the defect and allowed us to keep them. They did stretch out quickly, but as I previously stated, I believe I received a defective pair and would try these again.
