The material used to make these is very soft and stretchy, and she adores the variety of colors available. She is rough on her clothes; they get muddy and rolled around in, and as a result, they are washed several times a week and hold up well. There are no holes, rips, or fading. They're rock solid! She has no less than seven pairs because she literally lives and sleeps in them. SIZING: For reference, she is almost six years old and consistently wears a size five in City Threads clothing, but we order these pants in a size six so that they are not too tight but still fit like leggings. My only gripe is that City Threads clothing would benefit from being tagless, but we simply cut the labels off.
The quality is good, but the sizes are a little too big. I have a petite 14-year-old who weighs 90 pounds and stands 5' tall. I ordered a size 14 to ensure that it would be long enough. It most certainly is, but the fit is a little sloppy. A 12 or a slimmer version would have been preferable.
My 3-year-old granddaughter suffers from sensory processing disorder, and she will only wear these yellow pants. We ordered several pairs in the same size and color because she likes to wear them under her loose-fitting yellow dresses from City Threads. We've discovered that buying a size up in the dresses makes her feel more comfortable with no "seams" bothering her, and on her really bad days, City Threads shorts turned inside out feel good enough that she'll wear them under dresses and under her pants instead of underwear (although the shorts are removed as soon as she gets home). City threads are a lifesaver for parents and children who are attempting to dress their children every morning and night while dealing with sensory issues that are excruciating for both the child and the parents.
I wanted leggings that fit more like pants and could be easily removed by a preschooler to use the restroom. These have been fantastic. I adore how well they match the City Threads tops. I bought my daughter a few pairs of leggings and tops, and she's picking up on color matching quickly and easily. They wash and dry well, haven't stretched out, and are a fantastic item that we will repurchase as she grows out of them.
The leggings, however, must be ankle-length. length. We've tried on every pair of leggings at the big-box store. Stores like Big Lots, Old Navy, and Children's Place - all of which are plagued by the same issue - We decided to try the leggings because she loves the City Threads Bike shorts that she wears under her uniform skirts on hot days. The size 10 fits her perfectly (it's the same size as her shorts), and the length is long enough to cover her ankles. So she didn't have to worry about them creeping up her calf any longer. City Threads' quality is exceptional in our opinion. They've stood up to a lot of washing. They're well worth the money in our opinion.
They were a perfect fit in the waist, hips, and back, but they were far too long. The length is 34, according to the size chart. After washing, the length is 25". The ones I got were number 39. I don't think they'll shrink more than 5 inches in the wash because they're only 5" long. I washed them in cold water and dried them until they were damp before hanging them to dry completely. They didn't shrink, which I didn't want because they'd be too small everywhere else if they did. I would have returned them if not for the fact that we needed them for a play and tan leggings are difficult to come by. My daughter has a slim physique. Her height is 5' 2" and her weight is 90 pounds. br>br>The fabric appears to be of higher quality than that found in discount department stores. However, over these 100% cotton leggings, I prefer leggings with a little spandex in them. After a while, they seem to stretch out. (Think of denim jeans that start out tight and loosen up throughout the day. ) )br>br>The color was nearly identical to what I had expected.
They're as comfortable as a pair of pajama bottoms. They are the perfect fit for him, as he is a very slim young man. (He'll be nine in a few months, but he's probably a little underweight for his age. ) ) I considered ordering both these and the next size up, but I was short on time and couldn't make up my mind. I just wanted to let people know that they were adequate for a boy in this situation. Orange costume pants for a boy were difficult to come by. As a result, these could be used for a variety of boys' legging needs. They were a good weight for the job. It shouldn't be too heavy or too light (about the weight of a pair of pajama pants). He was at ease when he wore them. I thought his length was good as well, and I believe he is about average height for his age. They came in handy when I was looking for orange sweatpants for my porg costume and couldn't find any. These were extremely successful.
I've looked everywhere for leggings that would fit my 8-year-old daughter, who is tall and skinny (52 inches and 47 pounds). old. Normally, I have to make do with them being way too short or buying for length and sewing tucks in the waist, but not this time! The City Threads size 8 fit her perfectly. I was also pleased to see that they are available in khaki and navy, allowing her to wear them under her school uniform. I purchased six pairs and plan to purchase more! Thank you very much!.
