This was purchased for my three-year-old, who stands approximately 41 inches tall and weighs 41 pounds. I ordered her a size 6 based on the sizing chart. The vest arrived, and it's adorable and soft, but it's a lot longer than the size chart predicted. It displays a figure of 18. It was supposed to be 9 inches long, which would have been ideal, but it's actually 22 inches long. It reaches just above her knees on the backs. The shoulders and chest were both spot on. Even though the tag says 120, I'm not sure I got the correct size. This vest is something I would recommend, but keep in mind that the size chart isn't always accurate. Because it's so long, it'll probably last us a few seasons at the very least!.
My four-year-old is taller than average, so I ordered a size 5t, which fits perfectly. Even though she's thin, it almost fits snugly around her chest, so keep that in mind when ordering. On the inside, it's incredibly soft and substantial! It's a hit with both mom and the kid. This was an excellent purchase. br>Editing review and deducting a star because it says to order a 4t or a 5t, but the size that arrived was a 4-. I'm sure I'd have ended up with the same size regardless.
It's a beautiful and useful piece. My child is 17 months old and stands at an average height of 85 centimeters. 4 T. is the amount of money you should spend on them. It appears that it will keep my toddler warm on cool summer nights and in the fall. It's perfect for layering while still allowing you to move around. A fleece liner is attached to the pocket in part. I can see this being useful for cleaning out pockets, but I can also see them flipping out every time they put their hands in them. Snaps are solids - br>br> Prior to use, I washed and dried it. It has retained its shape and is soft to the touch. Unlike other shell-style vests, it can also be packed.
The furry lining on this vest is a big hit with my daughter. It appears to be hot outside. She usually wears a size 6x at Carters, and the size 6 in this vest is too small for her. It's still wearable, but it's a bit on the long side. She will, without a doubt, be able to wear it again next year.
This vest is fantastic! We bought it for a fall photo shoot and it worked out perfectly, and my daughter adores it!.
I believe the content could be improved. It's not nearly as hot as it appears in the photo. For the same price, you can buy a warmer vest.
