My three-year-old daughter was a size 4, so I ordered a size 4 for her. She was 5 at the time, and it was the perfect fit for her because she is tall and slim, so 5/6 is for kids 5-years-old and up. 6 years old, 8 years old, and so on.

This is a stunning vest with excellent quality and fit; however, I was taken aback when my two-and-a-half-year-old opened the side zipper pocket and pulled out a HANDFUL of 6-inch coins. She had 7 packets of silica gel in her hands and was about to put them in her mouth. I never considered checking the pockets for silica gel, and I didn't notice any warnings about it in the bag; if there were, they should be more prominently displayed. Why are these packets stuffed into the side pockets, too? This is an Amazon Essentials product, which is fantastic, so I'm surprised they overlooked this issue.
It's adorable, not too thick or thin, and will be ideal for the in-laws. In our area, there is a period of transition between seasons. The contrast between the dark blue and the pink is fantastic because it isn't overly girly while still being extremely cute. This is an excellent purchase. I ordered a medium and am confident that it will be perfect.
Her vest, which is a little puffy but still manageable, gets a lot of compliments. It could have been a smidgeon longer, but that would have been strange, so it's fine. I've washed it a million times and it's very easy to clean. I'm very pleased with it overall.
For my daughter, who is a size 4t, I ordered this vest in an extra small size. It was a tad too big for me. I wanted it to be exactly how I wanted it, so she could wear it again next year. It had a good amount of filling, and the dark pink looked exactly as it did in the photos. I liked the vest, but I had to return it. The color of the lining and the zipper pull were the two issues I noticed. The light pink had a washed-out appearance to it. So much so that it appeared to be used even though it was brand new. Furthermore, the zipper pull was striped and appeared to be of low quality.
The pink on the navy vest's zipper pulls is quite visible, though it appears that the pink is not visible in the photo. I'm also not sure what the last photo with the yellow bag is supposed to be about. It wasn't included in the package.
In person, it's even cuter. The interior has a soft and inviting feel to it. It was a little big on my 4-year-old (she's tall). slim). My daughter, however, does not like high necks, so I had to return it. It was also a little too big around the neck (which I believe all vests of this style have). I would definitely buy it if it had a lower cut neck and thinner padding. Pro's: well-made, with pockets, cute colors, and a warm feel a warm and inviting interior Con's: It was a little too big, and the neck was a little too stuffed. (However, for my daughter, this is a personal disadvantage).
