It appears to be a cozy, warm environment. I couldn't say much about skiing because I bought it for my Great granddaughter as a Christmas present.
I haven't used it in quite some time. But I'm buying it for around that temperature.
The size of the 6 year old depends on his or her height and weight, but an average size 6 would be appropriate.
There are genuine pockets in there.

It's definitely thick enough for the fall weather in Michigan. Snow pants are an added bonus, and it has an extra lining on the inside. When winter arrives, you'll probably need a thicker coat, but for now, it's perfect for fall and light winter. I'll keep my snow pants for the winter and switch out my coat because it gets cold up here in the winter. However, if you live in a mild winter climate, this set is ideal.
My 5-year-old daughter is super cute. year- The unicorns were a big hit with the kids, and it mostly fit. Why did you give it two stars? br>I ordered a size 5/6 for my 50th percentile in height and 30th percentile in weight (slightly thinner than average) five-year-old, and the jacket and pants were a little short; we live in a warm climate, but we were going skiing in Wyoming over the 2018/19 holiday break. The pants rode up as soon as she put them on in the snow, and she immediately got a lot of snow in her boots. The bottoms of the pants have non-removable elastic. existent. When you add in the fact that it's too hot outside, you've got yourself Short length makes them unsuitable for walking around in the snow, let alone anything more active like snowboarding, skiing, or sledding. My little girl was dripping wet and miserable. The jacket was similar, with sleeve lengths that were too short and let a lot of snow in.
I bought the pink set with stars for my 4-year-old niece, and she loves it, and the price was great, especially considering it was London Fog. I mean, The Children's Place charged $100 for the same thing, and this was around $55. With how rough children are on clothing and shoes, and knowing that they will most likely only be able to wear them for a season due to growth, paying $100 is ridiculous! I'm very pleased with my purchase, and we've already had a few snowstorms in Michigan. We've already had to wash the coat half a dozen times after sledding and playing in the snow, and it's held up beautifully and maintained its color. I'd buy from you again in a heartbeat!.
It was very well received by my daughter. For the amount of time we spent outside during our two days in the snow, it served its purpose. However, it did not live up to my expectations. br>br>I had high hopes that it would keep my toddler from getting wet while playing in the snow, but it did not. After an hour of playing in the snow, her feet and legs were completely soaked. Her face was also flushed and ice-cold. I don't think I can blame it on the suit, though. Despite this, knowing what I know now, I would still buy it because it served its purpose well and is reasonably priced.
The pants appeared to be quite large, but when I compared them to a pair of T2 leggings (unwashed, so they will shrink 1/2in- They're the same length (about 1in) and have the same width (about 1in). aligned along the inseam I'm not worried because the straps can be adjusted, and I'm hoping we'll be able to wear this set for at least two seasons. br>br>After trying on the outfit with my daughter, I believe she will outgrow the jacket first (shoulders aren't too wide).
The sizes are on the small side. For a winter coat, the shoulder area is extremely narrow. I'm going to exchange it for a larger size. The purchase description is labeled incorrectly in the cart. I chose the suit with the unicorns as shown in the picture, but the product I received only had space stars. The overall quality of the snow suit is outstanding, and I plan to order a larger size in the future.
My 18-month-old daughter is quite small. The 18 months fit true to size at 5 lbs and 29 inches, with the exception that the pants are a little narrow in the hips, which she didn't mind because she's petite. The shoulder straps were way too long for me, but they didn't bother her, and they stayed up when she wore them. We were very pleased with the product, which was of excellent quality.
They knew it would be difficult and expensive for me to return due to the distance. As a result, they sent me a defective one that had been marked as a reject. Please see the photos that have been attached.
