Winter is a great time to wear a jacket from Southern States. A little heavier than a standard hoodie jacket, it does have pockets on the front. Winter in the South is usually warm enough for this to be a perfect choice. Despite its light weight, the hooded sweatshirt is heavy enough to keep you dry during light rain. I love the way the color looks in the picture. As far as the size is concerned, it's larger than average, so go up a size if you're on the fence. A 3T would have fit me a little big for my 2 year old if she were heavier and taller, but it is perfect. I am glad I ordered one size up from her actual weight and height. In terms of the price, it is great for a hoodie with such incredible quality. The jacket deserves five stars, but a lack of a zipper detracts one star from its score. When you have a toddler, it can be a bit difficult to zip up or down due to the zipper snagging.
I bought the purple one with pink trim in size 4t for my daughter and we both Her height for her age is perfect and it fits exactly how I wanted - she is 3 years old and tall. I want it to be a bit loose so I can layer other shirts underneath, but not so loose that her sleeves fall over her hands. This is one of my favorite clothing items, and my sister says that it is incredibly comfortable. I plan to order them again as soon as she needs a size up.
The small size fits more like a 6 or 7 for my 2 year old daughter, who wears a size 5/6 depending on the brand. I would have kept the top if the fit had been right, but the fabric feels thin and cheap.
The colors are orange and red! A lot of options are hard to find for orange fleeces, however, this one is good. Snappers survive for a long time. It has a lightweight feel but isn't as thin as most Layer it under a coat for a nice look. A good value for money and good quality.
It was wrong that I expected that it would be cheap, thin fleece because of the price. I ordered it for my almost 5-year-old (in the 6/7 size). Despite its thickness and softness, the fleece is very warm. My opinion is that the fleece quality is at least as good as that of The North Face or Columbia. A true bargain. Though it is a bit large for my daughter now, she will grow into it, making the deal that much sweeter. I was very pleased with how fast shipping was. The book is very highly recommended!.
Great jacket for the money. Size 4 Excellent jacket for the price. I have a 4 and a 5 so 5. Approximately 5 years of age. The plan for next year is definitely in the works.
There is something very nice about this It has not pulled after washing and the fleece is good quality. I like how it fits, and usually sleeves are too long for my daughter, and these are long, but the elastic trim prevents it from slipping down her body. For the price, this coat is excellent.
Although it looked cute, I had to return it because the inside sewing was extremely poor. There were lumps inside and the carpet was poorly made, not like anything sold in stores by Carrier or any other brand. The recommendation is not to do so.
