Columbia Girls' Benton Springs Fleece Jacket

It's important for me to start by saying that I am a 30 year old 5'3" 116 pound woman. It would have been easy for me to get a medium/small in the Columbia Fast Trek II women's fleece, but I didn't want to pay $40+ The price for those is $50. Using this one to compare the sizing measurements to the Fast Trek II, it was the same size. The "Big Girls Benton Springs" fleece that I purchased in XL is not too tight, but it is a little loose. There is a decidedly more feminine feel to Women's Fast Trek II It would be flattering to choose something more flattering than this, but I just wanted something that would fit well. It is only the color that I dislike about this one. A deeper pink would have been more appealing to me. I love this fleece! It's so warm! I was satisfied with the color of the purple lotus. A jacket this good can be worn for warm autumn days and overcast winter days (would provide adequate wind protection). In addition to a jacket that would meet most of our needs (we live in SE VA where you can get away with wearing a heavier fleece most of the time) and one that wouldn't interfere with a car seat, we also wanted comfort. I think this is a great idea. We bought a size bigger after reading other reviews that complained about how small the wrists and/or sleeves can be. A tall, average-weight 16-month-old has outgrown his clothes from his carefree days in favor of 24 month clothes (usually too big but 18 months too short), so we bought a 2T size. It was a good choice to do so - This was a great length (not too long, not ridiculous-- She should be able to wear it at least through spring) and the sleeves are tight, but they fit over clothes. It's possible to pull down her clothing sleeves with my fingers if I get up the sleeves of her clothing. If the sweater is bulkier, it may be more difficult to bend. Due to the tight wrists (at least right now), the sleeves are a little long for her, but they stay up without my having to fold them in halves.

My daughter is 5 years old, soon to be 6 years old, and I bought her a small (7/8). As of right now, she wears a 6/6X in everything. For her, I got the small because I wanted her to have room to grow into it. Despite the sizing issues, I'm very satisfied. The jacket that she wears most often is her favorite. The one I bought her last year outgrew hers so she demanded another one from me. Her favorite item of clothing is this jacket, the only item she requests when she goes shopping. I love this jacket because it is perfect for going out. Winter and summer can both be worn with this jacket. The only thing I dislike about this jacket is that it isn't available in more neutral colored solids. Since my daughter loves purple, this is a good choice, but I would love to get a solid beige or grey one for her as well. It would be easier for me to purchase more of the jackets if they had neutral colors. There is nothing better than wearing a soft and comfortable jacket. Her hands are perfectly tucked into one of the pockets, making it easy to put on and take off. My daughter currently wears a size 3T, but this is in a size 4T. I love the fit, the sleeves are a bit long but it will still last you through the winter. My older daughter will also get one! I would definitely buy this again and I plan to get one for my younger daughter.

Those fleece jackets are so comfortable. I bought a 2T for my 18 mo old daughter in the Fall of Two years have passed since she was born. My son is 5 and wears a size 3 (my wife and I also wear adult versions). This is just the right weight for spring and fall in Missouri, and it is still in great shape (her 2T from last year still fits! In the - It is pretty much brand-new and it has been used a ton, as well as detailed and washed). It's a certainty that I will buy her a fleece as soon as she outgrows the last one.

I bought a Columbia jacket for my toddler for the second time. Columbia jackets are among my favorite clothing items. The reason I bought it a little bigger is because I wanted it to be a little bigger. I have to roll the sleeves since the arms are too long. The midsection is just right but the arms are long. Initially I assumed the arms were long since I purchased it a size larger, but then again as I stated above the midsection works just perfectly. Either way, it keeps her warm and is exactly the same color and make as my Columbia Jacket, so we can pair up. It is by far the best jacket I've ever worn.

This jacket is on the small side for a 6x, but I knew that when I read the reviews. In order to do so, I adjusted the size. The dress my daughter normally wears is a size 6, but she needs it for torso and arm length, so a regular size 6 is usually too big for Based on the reviews I read, there wasn't much room for layering under this dress. This jacket has been a great find for my daughter who is on the slimmer side. It's perfect for the lighter spring weather. Layering up is not something I intend to do. This is something we really enjoy.
