For kids, the best all-around jacket. This is the same jacket that my older daughter wore a few years ago. It's the softest jacket I've ever worn, and it keeps me warm in the winter. It also works well as an inner liner. Alternatively, you can cover it with a waterproof shell. Hers is a bright fuchsia color, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. I always order a size or two larger than I need so that they will last several seasons. The elastic in the wrists of the sleeves is strong enough that the sleeves can be easily rolled back and will stay in place even if the jacket is very long (if you buy it big on purpose). br>br>For my nearly 18-month-old, I ordered a 4T. For his age, he is quite tall. If my memory serves me correctly, he was around 31 or 32 inches tall at 15 months. The 4T fits him perfectly and isn't as long as I expected (though that could be due to his age). In any case, the color is stunning, and it's just like my daughters'. And I really like it: )br>br>Edited to add: I also included a photo of my daughter in hers, which I took a few years ago. She's only five years old, but she's a big girl (47 inches tall) - She is dressed in a 7/8 size. When she was three, I bought her a size 7/8. 5 and it resulted in a lovely long coat. The sleeves on this coat are very sturdy, and they roll up easily, as I mentioned earlier. So, if the shirt is long, rolling up the sleeves isn't a big deal. (Or, in my case, I purposefully purchased a large coat and have now had three falls from it. ).
According to other reviews, this coat fits as expected. My 13-month-old daughter is dressed for an 18-month-old. On the basis of reviews, I purchased the 2T. It's a little tight, but it does the job. I had to cuff the sleeves because they were too long. It's a cute coat, but it's not as warm as I had hoped based on the reviews. For the record, I live in Michigan. Weather-wise, spring can be a complete coin toss, so this will be suitable for the majority of days but not warm enough for a transition from winter to spring without the addition of some additional layers. I would not buy it again or for a higher price than I paid for it.
The fit is slim and tapered. My 11-year-old niece was given a medium, but it was too small for her. I had the option of selecting a large size. It is a little on the small side. It's also fluffy, but not quite as fluffy as it appears. It's a tight fit, so go up a size. One for my 11-year-old niece and the other for my 8-year-old niece, I purchased two. They're skinny girls, but they're gaining weight. I purchased a small beautiful red one for my 8-year-old niece, which fit her well but could have been a medium. Believe me when I say you should go up a size. They'll be a hit with you. They are available in a variety of vibrant hues.

Beautiful jacket, very soft, ordered a large because I am 5'1" and weigh 114 pounds and prefer my clothes to be a little more fitted, and the large was just right. A little tight in the hips, but that is because women's flares out at the hips, whereas girls runs straight down.
After weeding through a lot of cheaper options with reviews of being up to anything, I decided to buy this for my 7-year-old daughter. This jacket has a wonderful softness to it. She's practically living in it, and unlike many of the less expensive ones, it hasn't picked up any dirt, leaves, mulch, or other debris. I strongly advise you to invest a little more in this jacket.
It's cute and cuddly, but it's a little on the small side. I purchased a size 2T for my 22-month-old daughter in the hopes that she would grow into it, but it fits her snugly even with a thin t-shirt underneath. Her North Face fleece in size 18 months is still a good fit for her. I'm disappointed that she won't be able to wear it as long as I had hoped for next spring.
I liked the jacket, but the price was outrageous. The jacket is nice in and of itself; it's light but warm, soft, and goes with almost anything. In the beginning of 2020, I purchased a smaller size. I was about to purchase another when the price increased by $22! I understand that prices have risen, but it's still not worth $50.
