I use it as a rain shell for my daughter and it works well
It's been six years since my granddaughter turned six and she has a medium-sized build, not thin or The size 7 she bought me is a perfect fit for her. I was very pleased with how the fit was.
This is a question I do not know the answer to. This is for my granddaughter who usually wears a size 10. She got a medium.
By removing moisture from your body while you wear the mesh, you reduce sweating by allowing air to flow between the mesh and the waterproof material, which is

It was purchased at a store called For my tall, 3-year-old son, the size is too small. My daughter wears a size 4 or 5 for her height. This jacket is not heavy and would be a good choice for wind and rain in the Midwest. It is an attractive and bright color. This is so great! I adore.
I bought this for a 9 yo girl who is average sized and in a medium size. I considered the Marmot Precip and REI Rainfall to be the competitors. Featured similarities include They all fit in with a layering fleece that's light to medium thick, which is ideal A heavyweight would have trouble fitting in that bag
- I only need to do They are all thin shell materials but they are supposed to be lightweight, which I guess would be helpful in mitigating sweat, but keep in mind that these are shells only and they are not meant for wearing during the winter. There should be something waterproof and breathable on every item. There are no pit zips on these shirts They are found on the adult models. The Columbia zipper top closures have velcro, whereas the Precip and Rainfall have snaps (velcro on all portions of the middle and lower). My only complaint was that I had a little trouble snapping and unsnapping Precipitation forecast & temperatures The Rainfall brand has interior collars that accommodate stowaway hoods, while the Columbia brand I gave Columbia half a star because it lacks the velcro closures at the top and a stowaway hood)- Precipitation forecast & temperatures A rainstorm is made of nylon ripstop The Columbia regular nylon is designed for light duty use. However, ripstop is more durable when it comes to preventing tears from extending, but it is less so in preventing punctures/tears from occurring. You can no longer use it because it is not However, Columbia only gets 1/2 a star for regular nylon)
- It was really nice to have the chest pocket on the Rainfall- There is a laminated interior surface on Precip and Rainfall You can see that the precip had a few nubs on it (as you can see in the pictures) but I couldn't tell the difference between them really. As a result of the mesh, the laminate stays off the skin of the Columbia. When worn in layers, it is okay, but if worn alone, it can feel like plastic against the skin, and sometimes it sticks to it as well. I know some people will find that acceptable, however, my kids would not. It's not so great. It was this main difference that made the Columbia the clear favorite. If I were going through precipitation and rainfall, I would have taken away 1 - 2. A full star and a half based solely on the lining. As you know, I cannot compare waterproofness among all three, but I was very pleased with the Columbia in a light rain . Water is beading up and rolling off during moderate rain. Having not stood or hiked out in the rain all day, we can't comment on the length of time it would take for the shell to saturate and act as a reservoir for water negating its breathability. Keep in mind also that breathability can also be relative evaporation and breathability are more efficient in cool dry climates, but in hot humid weather nothing will breathe. The events ended without any one getting wet, which was the most important thing. Here are some pictures of a medium size with measurements for those who might be curious. It's hard to argue with Amazon's pictures when it comes to their.
It adjusts perfectly and fits well! A nature preschool is where my daughter goes. It had rained twice in the past three days, and she was soaked through. While they like to shop in light rain and go out for walks in the rain, she's out in the rain even if it's pouring (not lightning, Rain jackets from Columbia are our favorite. She doesn't get too hot in it, nor does it get heavy. She can also layer it over a tank top. She loves the fact that the hood is adjustable with Velcro so I can ensure it fits her appropriately without covering her face, and there is a lip on the hood that acts as a hat to further shield her from the rain. Look at the wrists Velcro, which is also a very important part. Her wrists will keep fitting over time I won't have to worry about them being too tight or too loose. There is a zip and Velcro on it, which I like. There is nothing not to like about this jacket, and it is a bargain. This jacket is amazing, and I am so happy that I purchased it.
A rain jacket that could be worn even in the summer heat but still withstand a true and total downpour suited our needs A torrential downpour would be a perfect example It has rained. We are very pleased with our daughter's school and camps, which teach the kids to enjoy the elements (safely). Despite the weather, we had to ensure the girl stayed relatively dry, yet not overheat and lose All the boxes in the check list were checked. Besides it's slightly sturdier, and it's worth almost half the price - 37 dollars for such quality in such a pretty and classy color as the plum and wine colors. There is no match for this. I would like to note one thing We felt that this was slightly undersized, so if you are in doubt, go a size larger. I would size up if you were planning to use this in colder weather or in warmer weather for a few weeks.
You love it when you're 'that family' at the national parks during monsoon season when you don your wet weather jackets and fend off the rain. You will look like someone out of the ads in the magazines when everyone else is in a wet cotton tee-shirt You don't need to wear an outfit that makes you look like a sail unless you wear a shirt or a flowing poncho. On a mountaintop, this isn't a good place to be. The jacket did just what it was supposed to do. The socks fit perfectly, and keep you dry on your face as well as everywhere else. I really like the pockets, and the Velcro at the wrists enables me to keep the sleeves in place, so the water doesn't enter. The colors are also cute, did I mention that? The book is very much worth the money. The odd weather let us spend more time outdoors and stay comfortable.
This is a good quality shirt and I bought the size described on Columbia's website size chart. My daughter ordinarily wears a Large, but this chart indicated a Medium, so we got that size, and it fits perfectly! I have a 10 yo girl who is tall and skinny, 4'8". In terms of quality, it seems like it would be easy to pass down to siblings, and the color is.
There are zippered pockets and this one is lined. My only wish is that it had a bit more adjustability in the hood, but most kids' clothes don't have that feature. Both of the smallest sizes were available to me. A trip led to the loss of two I owned previously. Whenever I had the chance to do it again, I would choose the same thing. I can trust that it is strong enough to support my two little adventurers and that it is It's a little roomy since I got the sizes large. The trousers fit well over a fleece or even a light puffy jacket for excellent warmth in winter, as well as snow repellency. on the sleeves provides a nice way to adjust to the slightly long sleeves (I believe it is true to size due to the way I sized it). It's a great coat to recommend. Kids who love to go camping, hiking, and sleeping in them live in them and they hold up.
She has a good fit right now, and it will allow her to grow, which is great. The color, too, appears to be well accurate compared to what I saw online.
